I'm really curious what countertops you'll do when you get around to changing them. I've been watching this channel for awhile and have to say, it is such a breath of fresh air to see how much time you spend with your family. I'm an only child and lived at home until I got married at 29. I never took the time I spent with my family for granted (even though I felt slightly annoyed sometimes haha). At times I felt like I should be out with friends or should be more "independent" and have my own life. At the end of the day though, I loved spending time with them and am so thankful because one day, I won't be able to do that. Mia I come from a place where we have earthquakes and it’s common to use blu tack to stick things to shelves so they don’t fall - not sure if it’s called blu tack everywhere but the putty stuff you use to stick posters to your wall as a teen. It would be a good idea to use that on those beautiful antiques! I love the kitchen, it’s so my style, my favourite parts are the backsplash and butterfly handles
