Why was checking the nature your first possible thought after catching and nicknaming and not saving? I once had almost lost a shiny for not saving after catching and only then having realized my battery was not only red but already flickering too and I was nowhere near my charger. Save a shiny, save your game.
Was that even the shiny patch??? I kept my eye on it the whole time and there was one shaking grass just above the shiny one and he went into that one instead- The shiny patch was below it. Was this a 100% legit shiny?? I even rewinded and checked three times. He did _not_ step in the shiny patch, but it was shiny anyway!
Morrigan nothing annoys me more than people questioning if its legit... especially on stream. The shiny animation is located on the lower part of the patch. The patch of grass under doesn't shake there is literally only one shaking patch in that area. I suggest re-watching the video
