I want anyone who complains about little aches and pains or the normal annoying things in their life to please just think of this magical little man who puts us all to shame,I think when I ever feel down I will just picture that wonderful cheeky grin.this episode was a real blessing for me to watch thank you❤
Was on the crew for one of these Extreme Makeover builds, and believe be, the tv show doesn’t show it all!!! From start to finish it’s mass panic in a spray can!!!!!! The amount of coordination between all the different trades is amazing! I had so much fun on my build.

We need more foster parents like them, mine were all horrible and so were my friends’. I am so glad they have given a safe (as safe as they could) and love filled home to so many children! I hope they are all doing well and that little Jake is still being a strong and sweet guy!(: Edit: just realized that “little Jake” is my age lol oops 😅
I hope one day I feel this fulfilled and accomplished in raising such beautiful people. Not enough people are recognizing the kindness and optimism of the elder children, especially the sons. I would feel so proud and honored to have such wonderful children.
What you did for Jake was marvelous!! Without forgetting giving to the whole family, everyone was super happy!! Anyway, Jake is really a sweetheart and loving little boy, he gives hope to everyone
I was blown away at what an incredible story this was. Thank you to Extreme Makeover & the many people who rebuilt this home to allow Jake to survive & live in comfort. Also for his family to live each day without the stress of harm to Jake. Also just the love & caring you give to children the some family's just don't want. What family's do that? Not this family? Incredible!
I am late to this party however I can say this mom and dad did an amazing job raising their biological boys. For them to be so involved in the care taking of their special need siblings is a blessing. God bless you mom and dad keep it up.
I miss watching This show, I watched it every week.This story is one of the most beautiful stories of a family I have ever heard. I watched this episode & I cried of happiness. I admire parents who go out of their way for kids with special needs. I was married to a man who had fetal alcohol syndrome & also epilepsy. I believe people would agree with me that if this show came back, it would get more viewers new & old. We need more good people now than ever before.
I cant help but have a feeling that that little boy Jake will accomplish big things and inspire millions of people. What an awesome little guy, so positive, so energetic and happy. He truly is an example to follow for all of us who sometimes take things for granted.

I loved this show how you and his crew help families struggling to keep their house standing from having mold through our their house making them all sick to helping veterans I wish the would bring them back on TV I miss it to

You're such an inspiration! My sister has Downs Syndrome, so I already knew not to take life for granted. But your life has taught me that on a much more deeper level! I'm going to start by binging on your content! You make many people happy! Edit: you're smile and laughter is so infectious. If there's anyone who watches this and doesn't smile when Jake laughs, something is seriously wrong and I pray they get the help they need. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR EVERYONE!

Jake is an absolute inspiration man. He just has an amazing perseverance and great outlook and attitude about life. If more people were as optimistic as him this world would be a much better place.

The show is so infectious. Makes whom ever is watching want to do good things also. I was always inspired to help others. Even if it getting something off of the top shelf in the grocery store for some one who can’t reach after people have just walked right past. One lady thanked me with tears in her eyes. I told her “No worries “ and I hugged her. I felt so good inside. Paying it forward has made me a better person. Watching the show has always given me a boost. I’m on SSD I can’t do a lot $ wise but I can smile, have a kind voice and have compassion for others without a second thought. I would love to see y’all come back. Wow, this episode really touched me. This family is a true example of what being family really means: to be family you don’t have to have the same blood type, you just have to be willing to make an extra space in your heart for the people you love. Jake is an amazing person and I know he’s going to continue to touch so many just like he touched me.
I lived in pekin at that time... my husband was a police officer and did a lot of security during that week and I worked 16 hrs straight at the site... I had a great time

I am glad I was able to watch this episode. I have learned a lot. I know pain is not a good feeling. Jake has shown me a different side to life and I will try not to complain as much. I have bone loss in my neck, spine and hip. But i have to keep going.
