Sugar doesn't give you diabetes. If it did then everyone would have diabetes because everyone eats carbs, we need them to live. Carbs are naturally turned into glucose, a sugar, when processed by the body. Carbs can be found in fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Cashagon yes it does. In excessive quantities - the number of carbs and their digestibility in a vegetable does not equate anywhere close to sugar. Look it up.

@@enderbluejay I was referring to the annoying, snarky remarks about obesity and diabetes. This was supposed to be a fun, lighthearted video! No one is forcing anyone to eat/drink anything. If these pitiful individuals are THAT afraid that drinking a stupid milkshake is going to KILL them or cause them irreparable harm, then they can pass on it! Let them stick to munching on lettuce and carrot sticks, like a goddamn rabbit! But some of us actually like to enjoy a treat every now and again, and I for one (and I know that I am not the only one out there that feels this way!) could do without their sanctimonious preaching! 🙄 Life is just too damn short to deprieve yourself of the things you love! There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with treating yourself to an ice cream cone on a hot summer day, or ordering dessert after a meal on occasion etc. Moderation (not deprivation) is the key. And those who are obsessed with health and fitness seem to have this insatiable need/desire to try to shame/guilt anyone who wants to actually live a little. They are extremists in their thinking. It is actually very similar to religious fanaticism in my view. I have thought about this long and hard, and I honestly can't decide who is worse. Health nuts or bible thumpers! I find them both equally aggravating, and try to keep my distance whenever possible. Both groups seem to be consumed by an intense fear of pleasure, and seem to be intent on making sure that nobody anywhere is having too good of a time! Ugh! 😡
