I recently switched my account to a Brand Account, so all my replies to comments on here have been lost. I truly do appreciate all the kind words, and I'm touched to know that this video meant something to so many people.
Personally a lot of people think she did everything fast but this animal trusted her, a horse can't be made into doing anything they have their own mind and they will hurt you if they want but they surrender themselves to those they love and trust. You can tell this horse loves this trainer and if some can't understand well maybe start training horses and see how much work it is and how hard it can be, How many hours and how much dedication, horses need. I've trained a few not as perfect as this, it takes a lot of bruises, tome and trust , 100 days isn't a lot to train a horse that's less then 3 months maybe give or take a few days , she did amazing
I'm only 6 minutes in, and already tears in my eyes at seeing the fear in this horse's eyes turning to wonderment and trust. The bond between horses and humans is incredible. Thank you for showing your process and being such a patient and talented horse communicator / trainer
This cannot be a horse! No way! It's a clever dog in a horse suit! Seriously: beautiful job on a lovely little mare. I really, really like the way she moves, too. Bien fait.
Thank you for the comment for the Moms out there. I'm a Mom, a breast cancer survivor, and a rider. And thank you for being one of the wonderful trainers that help this beautiful little mare find a new life.. and for showing so many just what amazing creatures Mustangs are. Bless you
I’m a dressage rider myself and I have to admit I greatly enjoyed seeing this video. I could see that you trained her perfectly (back, posture, hind legs, everything) and I was simply amazed to see that the misconceptions a lot of dressage riders have about western riding are not true at all. I thought this was perfect.
There's a lot of bad in both styles, but good horsemanship and good training always shows what both sports should be. The style or sport is not the culprit, using your horse as a machine is the problem. Jackie taught softness with softness willingness with reward. Evidence of an amazing trainer
Thank you for your part in making Fancy the sweet mare that she is. She and Claire are wonderful partners and their love for one another continues to grow. With the background you gave her and the future that Claire will give her....wow!!!.....What a terrific team of three!!! Prayers for your Mom!
I would have paid 25K for Fancy!! This video was 4 years ago so I don’t know if you will see this. I have watched so many of these Mustang make-over videos and this, hands down without a doubt, is my absolute FAVORITE. God bless you and your beautiful family. What you and your husband do far outreaches saving mustangs, you save souls! Thank you SO VERY much for making this video and sharing. I will keep your family in my prayers. I have subscribed and look forward to check out what your doing 4 years later. Much Love & Respect from one horse woman to another. God Bless!!
Thank you so much for this comment! I really appreciate your support and prayers. ❤️ A lot has changed since this video, but we hope you'll stick around for the ride 😀. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for this! I've just rescued three horses from outback Australia during the drought! Two of which have never been touched before- this gives me so much hope!
I've watched so many of these video's the last few days and it's mad the difference between the wildness of the mustangs. Some are almost impossible, so flighty and some are almost tame from the off. I guess it really is pot luck which you get. Seems some don't mind too much working with people, while some plain hate it. I wish the ones that hate it could live free forever. This was pleasant to watch as the horse didn't mind so much ♥ Beautiful horse.
I was so lucky to be able to watch the final performance in person!!! It’s awesome to see some of the work that went into this horse!! That was truly amazing!
You are an amazing woman and a kick ass horse trainer. It is definitely a gift from God. Your video brought tears to my eyes more than once. Thank you for sharing your journey. I hope your mom is still doing well. Keep up your amazing talent. I hope to see more.
You are so right about God! You preach it. He has a path for us all. Great job with your horses; I love your gentle touch and love you give to these fur babies.
Touching. Beautiful music and great testimony. Prayers are with you. There is always a reason why the Lord does what He does. We’ll understand it all by and by.
Gosh this made me cry, what an incredible transformation, this is the best thing I have watched in a long time and is inspirational! Thank you for sharing your journey! From all the way in Australia!
I hope that your mother is better now. My mother also had breast cancer, but she caught it at an early stage. We never would have caught it if our dog, Bella, hadn't sniffed her chest every day for about a month before my mom got her scan done. She now is cancer free for four years and has two breasts less. She has given up on prosthetics since they gave her a mild laceration. It's so unfortunate that breast cancer is so common and dangerous. We live in a world filled with disease and hate, but it's times like these that hold peace and truth. Please continue to do these amazing things and tell your mother that she's very strong and even with stage three breast cancer she can make it. Thank you for doing what you do and have a great rest of your day or night.
Thanks for sharing your story. Your comparison of a horse learning to trust as we learn to trust God is so spot on. I have recently had the blessing of having the power of horses in my life and I have been inspired by their beauty and healing power.....like God.
What an absolutely brilliant mare! You did such a lovely job with her, such a beautiful connection you established. Sounds like she found a wonderful home, you made that all possible for her, bless you!💖💜❤
What an inspiration you are for all horse lovers and people battling the fight to win and that includes your beautiful mother. God bless you all.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😍❤️‼️
Just doing the math here. The adoption fee was $10K, half of that goes to the Mustang association. I guess you keep the other half? Well, that is 3 months of hard work, stable and food for the horse, medications and anything the animal needs… you are basically doing this for free. Thank you for doing what you do for those animals. They are beautiful and very smart. I hope these competitions give you name recognition and brings in more business for you and your husband. Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing such an incredible heartfelt and beautiful story and so many ways. God bless you and your family and especially to your mom and wishing her good health and full recovery!
This is most FAVORITE Mustang video....EVER)))))) < !!!! What a great job, and that lil mare could lope and jog with the BEST of them!! Congrats to you and hubby for amazing jobs
Congratulations! A lovely story, well told. It is clear you treated that "little red horse" with kindness and respect and went at her pace. She looked so soft and relaxed through most of that and you prepared her well for a life with a human. What a feat! And what a great process... allowing more time and exposure to a range of different things rather than the 3-day "conquering" evident in another horse trainers' event. Your Mum is no doubt proud of the daughter she raised...with kindness and respect, I don't doubt. Thank you for sharing!
These mustang makeovers make me wanna cry lmfao. To think that someone can bring an 1000lb wild beast to a baby-loving, fearless, quiet animal is just insane to me. It gives me disney princess vibes.
I loved this so much and my heart was just as invested in this beautiful horse giving you her all. I loved the whole video, the music, the message and the moral. Thank you for giving a better life to a majestic mare.
Beautiful. Thank you for doing what you do. You obviously have a kind hand & loving hands & heart. I hope you are able to continue giving those horses a chance at a good life. And I hope that you & your mom can enjoy many more moons together. Most of all, thank you for sharing - takes guts to post on the internet nowadays with all the haters out there.
My goodness!!! I am really speechless. This video is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen. You are your beautiful smile are blessings for all! I'm proud to say we are sisters in Christ!!
My favorite of the mustang videos that I've seen. Thank you for shamelessly mentioning God in your video and honoring your mother. This was so encouraging to watch for someone wanting a mustang.
Fancy is incredibly beautiful, athletic and affectionate and exceptionally intelligent. It's also evident that you are an exceptional trainer as well! While watching your mustang videos I have been very impressed at how playful they are, seems like they all have a great sense of humor! Also thank you for your wonderful testimony! Your song selections were a blessing to my heart! The Lord has also used horses (and one in particular) to teach me lessons about trust, faith and submission to his will. Great is His Faithfulness!
Hello from Norway :-) What an amazing job you have done. Love how she changed her apperance in the picture before and after. She looks healtier and more beautiful now. Longer neck :-)
i was able to watch her perform in the finals and you two were amazing!!! its so cool to watch her transformation, thank you so much for sharing her journey!!
This is the first horse I’ve come across also named Fancy in the nearly 6 years I’ve had her. Mines a black tobiano paint so worlds apart in looks but both are beautiful, full of curiosity and love to romp, must come with the name!
Tears of joy🤗😍from the first clip in her stall that mare chose you. What a beautiful job you did training her.both of you have beautiful souls, thats very apparent .Im so happy to hear she went to a great home. From one cancer survivor to another, happy to hear your mom is still fighting. Will be praying for her healing🙏🏼love the christian music you put on this video. To God be the glory💖🕊💖
You are the best and the little red horse is my favorite. I pray that your mother get well soon by the grace of Allah swt. Everything is possible by the grace of The Almighty. Allah swt bless your mother and yourself and your family. Keep up the good work.👍👍👍👍❤
I was getting all emotional because this is truly a beautiful transformation, but thank goodness footloose came on 😂😂 it’s my all time jam so it lifted my spirits all the way back up 😂😂 beautiful horse, beautiful trainer, a spectacular job well done!!! I subscribed 5 minutes in because I had a feeling this was a very special video
She is beautiful. Her training went fast like someone else commented but I will also agree that she appeared very trusting and willing once you got going with her. Well done; God bless.
I'm doing a "mustang make over" well she is a pony I got from a guy who sells horses. But I fell like I'm doing one. Misty is my 2nd progect pony and my 1st ever not halter broke wild pony. Misty is making grate progress!
Thank you for sharing your amazing adventure with Fancy. I am in awe with the incredible work you do. I was very happy to learn she found a great home after the competition. I use to ask God the same kind of questions about my mom that you asked about yours. I too couldn't understand the reasoning or logic... How an incredibly good person, who gave to others their entire life, could end up having to suffer? My mom passed away after a quick but grueling battle with ALS. She died exactly 2 months after my oldest son was born. I hope your mom is doing well. Thanks for sharing your feelings and insight on such a difficult subject. 🐴🏆🤠
Awww just beautiful! What a wonderful video. Prayers for Mom! I have a Fancy on our property who is being boarded here by a terrific young girl. Initially, that drove me to your story. I love our Fancy (secretly), and she reminds me so much of your Fancy. Both are big powerful filly’s with great attitudes. Congrats, you two did a great job!
I like how you raise your hands to the neck when the horse will go up onto the amount so that they may have more room. I have yet to see that in these videos and think that should have some recognition. Well done on this makeover, well done. :)
