Extreme pro-Putin politicians in Germany threaten to divide Europe 

It wasn't a rant. She was defending the values of the ,still, majority of European citizens, who want to live in democratic, rule of law, societies.

Russia has been waging a hybrid propgaqnda war against west for over a decade. It is highly developed and effective. The reason it is effective is because it has targeted successfully genuine hypocrisies withing the liberal west (I include in the UK both Tories and Labor as liberal and in Germany CSU, CDU and Greens). . 1 Fiduciary incompetence 2 Expensive Excessive immigration impossible to control due to multilateral treaties destroying the character of European societies 3 A kind of totalitarianism in speech laws in regards to race, crime, religion and gender that makes Putins dictatorship look no worse. I support Ukraine strongly but the reason people like Orban, Trump keep wining is that the liberal progressives can't see their own incompetence, totalitarianism or arrogance nor change. It's a pity Ukraine is mixed up in this.

It has always been the case.. Politicians shouldn't have tried to LINK Western Europe to Eastern Europe. From the start, I was skeptical and thought it might turn out in years to come, to be a mistake. I'm not happy feeling perhaps I was right.
