I just purged my formal dresses from high school yesterday. And I’m about to turn 37!!🤣 My mom passed away 2 years ago and had STYLE! Purging her clothes that I wouldn’t wear was extremely therapeutic. I’m a sentimental hoarder and nothing was harder then going through them for the first time since being bagged up. Now I feel that I could get rid of everything in my 2700 foot house and start a new chapter.
Im a sentimental hoarder too and its hurting my family. I take pictures of things that id like to remember but know I'll never use. One day at a time and I love the freedom I'll have when it's complete.
😫 same, I bought a ton of pants last year then I got pregnant...I honestly don't see myself ever fitting into them again but I just can't let them go 🙃
After seeing your first purge I decided to stop buying statement pieces because I never wear them twice, but rather pieces I can continue to wear and style.

Yess! I literally have 4 large garbage bags full of clothes that I'm donating. I can't believe I kept all of those things for so long. A number of them still have tags on them too smfh 😔
Awesome purge! Remember purging is a process. While you might not be able to get rid of what you wanted to now you can always come back to it in 6 months and do it again. It's also good to purge once per season to always be reevaluating what you really love wearing and want to keep.
Your minimalist journey been inspiring me! When you decluttered your makeup, I purged a bunch of lip sticks as well and felt so good about it! I want a more simplistic lifestyle, work in progress

Every time I watch a declutter or organization video gives me motivation to tackle my own. I am definitely trying to downsize my wardrobe and keeping pieces that I truly enjoy.

Now, you ARE DEFINITELY ORGANIZED.. that's NOT the problem. To purge is really your option. While you are sharing what you are going to purge, it HELPS OTHERS LEARN ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZATION SYSTEM. That's also much needed. THANKS 👍😊

Love this! For all of you doing cleaning out like this - I love the idea of reselling and donating, another idea is to *also look for artists/creators in your neighborhood or town who make clothes or masks or sew* 🙏🏾 They would be super grateful to be able to take some of these pieces and even if they aren't re-wearable, they might be able to do DIY projects with them like making new things or head wraps, etc.! I've done this in the past even with old jewelry and knickknacks and clothing because I have so many creative friends - especially now that we've been in quarantine, people all over are picking up new DIY crafting skills. ♥️ Yay for sustainable fashion 🥳 Thanks for all you do Kim to inspire us to live more simplistic and pared-down lives that bring us joy! ✨
When the seasons change from cold to hot or hot to cold I always purge my closet or donate. I don’t keep or store clothes, they get donated and I enjoy starting over!!

Yes. Purging feels good. I purged quite a bit a few months ago and now it’s freed me up to buy a few really nice things every month to get my wardrobe more how I want it. When outside opens up, I’ll be ready 😌.
I did multiple purges and I went from 250 clothing items on hangers down to 75. In order to keep the number down, I also had to let go of some of my hangers as well. It took me 4 purges over 2 years but I use the money to buy some luxury bags and some very nice clothing pieces. I'm doing a final purge now since winter is over where I live and I'm only adding back maybe 10-15 pieces. 4 pairs of pants, 3 dresses, tops, a long puffer jacket, and a Burberry trench.
alway sin awe of ur ability to purge as many items as u do and they be cute cute..i be talking to the screen saying, 'girl u crazy thats cute.' lol..lord knows i need to do this but i just dont have the 'it' factor it takes to do so and i really want to but i keep holding onto things thinkin 'i know i havent worn it in a yr or so, but its cute and i may need it...i hope i get it together one day..

Keeping pregnancy things are always good to keep because I mean you never know 🤷🏽♀️ especially when you have one. I still have a few of my pregnancy items and I have two kiddos lol 😝
I literally just purged my closet as well. I’ve been unintentionally becoming a minimalist which is fine because I do not clutter or hoarding things I barely wear.
I’ve been holding off on clicking on this video because I know I need to purge. Doing laundry takes me days and days because I have way too many clothes!
Feels so good to clear up the clutter in our lives. I donate everything this way even though I wasted money… I feel someone will get joy owning it. I do want to cry when I donate new items because I was wasteful with my money… 😩😩😩

Hahahaha it’s funny this was posted 5 hrs ago because I just started purging my closet 4 hrs ago! Lol not just clothes in there either my house is a mess with stuff everywhere but it feels good! I’m putting things online and some people are picking them up later this afternoon! Thanks for the video it’s my little break before it get back at it 🤗
