Learn how to measure bullet jump -the distance from a seated bullet to the rifle's lands- using the Hornady OAL gauge and bullet comparator kit. We then load 4 five-shot groups at various jump distances.

Try this test with Barnes TTSX. Start at the recommend COAL then 20 thou off the lands. You’ll be surprised at the results. Also ALL my Lapua pill shoot better with a light crimp. Also measure each projectile from its base to ogive and see if there’s variability. Likely there is, even in the same lot. I’m subscribed and waiting with bated breath.
