If you’re getting a Farmstand be sure to get the dolly for underneath! Trust me and make sure you have it before you add the water!

I know most people use hose water, but I don’t even want to use it through a filter. I use spring water. I just can’t help myself! Haha

Just got my first seedlings and set up my Farmstand last week! They too looked a bit wilty from transport, but they perked up after a day of grow light and regular watering. Can't wait until they're are large as yours. :)

Yes, most perk right up. If they don’t, ask for replacements immediately. I did and Lettuce Grow immediately sent them to me! Don’t be shy!

@@mattsapero1896 Yeah, I had a shipment in April that got stuck for a week in transit when I did my first reset, and they refunded my money immediately upon being made aware of it (I ended up rethinking and and changing some of my selections in the time I was waiting). The replacements are doing fine now, though.

I recommend buying a bunch of sterile eye droppers to get that 5ml measurement perfect for the pH! I go for yellowish orange for the color.

Just ordered! Your videos are a fantastic help! I'm worried about starting the whole system without the mosquito bits or doing the hydrogen solution initially. I don't have any of that stuff! Should I get it immediately and use in the beginning before even getting the Farmstand???

Congrats, I'm so excited for you!! Looking back, I wish I had! In reality, indoor plants have fungus gnat issues, too, and you might have them in your regular plants and not even know about them or see them. But the Farmstand offers a moist medium for the gnats to lay eggs in that is grander than any house plant around. I feel that prevention in the beginning will help you love your Farmstand even more for the long haul, which is important considering it's such a big investment (with plenty of huge harvests ahead!). That's why I mention it in so many of my Farmstand videos, too, because it's an issue that you'll probably come across in time, if not in the very beginning. It's just a part of hydroponic growing, especially indoors, but the Mosquito Bits I've linked do a GREAT job controlling the population, along with some sticky traps for the adult gnats. :)

@@SlayAtHomeMother You're SO amazing!! - I'm curious whether you did research into the toxicity of Mosquito bits? I see you don't have them on your Amazon page anymore ... have you stopped using them? They are made from Bacillus thuringiensis, the chemical in roundup ready corn: Ingredients: Bacillus Thuringiensis Subspecies Isrealensis Primary Powder Aedes Aegypti (Aa) International Toxic Units (Itu) Per Milligram Primary Powder. The EPA claims that Bacillus thuringiensis (which they call "BT toxin") has no adverse effect on humans or mammals, but a 1999 study in the journal Life Sciences found that when Bt toxin was given to mice, it caused high levels of antibodies, suggesting an allergic response. I don't believe whether ANY bug killer truly harms insects but not us; I think we’re just bigger so we get "mystery" autoimmune conditions, but they don’t kill us …

I just ordered the biggest one! Yay!!!!!!!!!!! Are you short or do you place yours on top of something, because it looks really tall next to you. I love that it's 6' tall, I'm 5'9". I can't wait to get it. I have kratky hydroponics in my garage and yard. Hydroponics is the next way of farming!
