I wish i could see him. I have suffered from back and neck pain since i was a kid, and i am now 53. When I was 12, I jumped off the monkey bars and landed with my legs perfectly straight. The pain shot up through my back and neck. Several years later, when I was working at McDonald's, I was emptying the grease traps and spilled grease on the floor. I brought the trap to the sink, but there was a deaf guy back there doing dishes, and i was the only person who understood a little sign language. By the time finished with him, i forgot about the grease. I walked back through the grill area holding a stack of stainless steel trays. I slipped in the grease, landed in the box full of grease on my butt, but the box broke and went down on my back. I screamed in pain. ER doc said it was "just a strain" and sent me to physical therapy. But the pain was so severe, I couldn't breathe. My upper back, my ribs, felt like i was being crushed on the inside. I couldn't even lift a loaf of bread. It took over a month before I could breathe normally again. Several years later i was rearended in a bad car accident and hurt my neck and back. Then I was working and wrenched my back really bad. As with before, walking and breathing were huge challenges. Doc would NOT give me time off, said i was fine to return to work but i couldnt do any of the following: standing, sitting, squatting, pushing, pulling, overhead reaching, lifting. Okay, so what can i do? Fly? Mind you i worked in the college cafeteria as a cashier. WTF! Here i am now 53 years old, still suffering from past traumas. I have scoliosis, SI joint dysfunction, spine degeration, slipped discs, herniated discs. What i would do to see him and get some relief!

The only way to describe is like a lightening bolt hitting you like a shock with the pain. Limits a large amount of mobility

I’m not so sure. I’ve been everywhere and it’s nothing short of a curse. I wouldn’t wish this chronic condition on my worst enemy. Nothing helps and if it does, it’s 4-8 hours of short term heaven. I’d be more than happy to fly out there and drink the magic. Only thing that helps me is around the clock Advil - extreme high doses. No shots no steroids no PT nothing helps except for Advil on me. It’s like living in jail confined to a bed and if you move, you’ll be punished.
