Don't you have a wheelie control on that gen ? Is it kind of anti loop proof ? My 2020 doesn't have wheelie control so I'm still scared to wheelie up more than 1-2 feet
@@b4ll4z this gen does have wheelie control but with it on any setting it doesnt let you lift is past about 18 inches. Best to turn it all off and get comfy on the rear brake
@@Stunt.259 but I think for beginners it still a good way to learn how to pop the bike up knowing it won't go too high. After a while you switch it off and learn to control everything else.
There is no way that you only got about 400 Subs??? Your videos are so good and help a lot. I first thought you had at least 10-20k Subs. Keep it up and you will go viral!
@@Stunt.259just one more question is , when you clutch up wheelie will you preparing the real brake for in case fell down or not ? May you please reply ?
I want to make a MT10 into a stunt/street bike hybrid. Crash cage, sub cage, short levers. Only thing is you never see any 1000cc stunt bikes. They are a bit heavy for stunts
Have a look at joona vatanen, he stunts a S1000rr real well. If you want it as a hybrid, have a look at race rails instead of a full cage, it may work better on a 1000. Send me some videos when its done mate 🤙🏼
Get a speed triple 1200 RS on that strip. Intrigued to see what you boys make of that. The street triple 765 I haven’t tried yet but that would be a good one to try too. Only hearing good things about it.
I would love to try the 1200rs, no one has brought one to the strip yet tho. Ive had a go on two 765’s and I didn’t like them at all for wheelies, they just don’t sit right and the fly by wire throttle wasn’t too nice. I bet they are awesome track weapons tho!
Hey marco long time no see. I like the MT10 so much torque, it will still clutch up in 6th. I'll shoot you a messge when I get the bike back from having the forks done ill have to come down, I could do with some practise. I need to get my f4i up and running again I miss it.
TC 1 isn't "off". Once you get to 1 you hold the down arrow and then it'll turn actually off. Also dip the clutch at 5k in first? More like just roll on the throttle at 6 and she'll come right up lol
So I’ve done clutch ups on my fz1 no problem. I currently have a 19 mt10. I try to clutch up in mode 2 tcs2 and it just won’t come up. My tcs light will blink at me almost like it’s cutting it. But when I turn the tcs off completely it comes up no problem. So idk ….
I've been riding nearly my whole life in 39. I've always wanted to master wheelies, but I've found most of the bikes I've ridden have a very snappy throttle and scare shit out of me haha. I've loved the mt10 for years but recently started liking the zh2 but judging by the wheelie vids on RU-vid the mt10 esp the sp will be the better bike for wheelies as the seem to want to wheelie with hardly any throttle. Would you or anyone else agree with that?? I'm seriously considering purchasing the mt10sp over the zh2.
Ive ridden both and the MT10 was far better and more manageable, with enough grunt to keep some fear in you! Both are brilliant bikes but the MT10 was my preference for a multi purpose machine. 👍🏼👍🏼
I was just about to edit my comment as I wrote that while pausing the vid half way and as I watched the end when you mentioned about the r1 riders smoking you on the track and who cares as its great for the street. I think it made perfect sense to now go for mt10. I'm not worried about blast through traffic at 100mph I want an easy wheelie machine haha that's still plenty fast enough for urban areas, and sounds awesome 👌. Great vid and you got a new subscriber.
Does this have ABS? My 2019 MT10 will not let me use the rear break during a wheelie. I'm thinking it's my abs system. If it wasn't for the engine break I would have looped by now. I bought it off the showroom floor new and have kept up on all maintenance.
Hey - Its best to turn the ABS off, ABS in wheelies gives you no feel of the rear brake. The ABS should work in a wheelie, it did on the bike I was testing so double-check for any issues (ABS fuse, brake pads etc). Glad you didn't loop man 💪
Hey guys I'm looking at a MT10 new but the guy showed a killer deal on a newish 2 YO Monster. So what do you think of Monster 1200R vs MT10? I'm stuck on the fence ;
I like the Monsters for their looks, however, V Twins don't like to be wheelied, the front cylinders usually get starved of oil. The MT10 is a far better all-round bike than the monster and a more versatile tool in my opinion. If you want something exotic and good looking then the monster is the way to go. If you want something you can wheelie, track etc, then the MT10. Enjoy whichever one you get mate🤙
This video has bad information. TCS 1 is NOT OFF. it is simply TCS level 1. To turn it off properly, you need to hold the TCS lever down until you see the orange TCS light pop up.
@@lopezdad30 agree TCS 1 is not turned off. I only get an hour with the bikes so its sometimes hard to work out and film all different settings. Essentially you want everything turned off always 👊🏼 the remaining wheelie methods aren’t affected by this.
