EXTREMELY Complicated Gunpowder Farm :: Minecraft Create Mod 

I love when Bdubs has a strong opinion about something in Minecraft he starts to mutate into a red scarfed Art Director sipping a macchiato. “I don’t love it.” 😂

I love that you were 9 times more excited by the horse armor than the shulkerboxes or enchanted elytra wings

In Bdubs tradition, you need to be the one to make a functioning clocktower.

I love Bdubs' approach to making purposeful things almost intentionally not the most optimised way, but for the sake of it being beautiful and creative. That's what the spirit of the game is about - the creation of the farms and utilities being just as important as the resources they actually produce. For instance, the expensive sugar cane farm is just cool to have and watch do it's thing, makes the world immersive.

I started laughing at "Suit up, Climb 7". He's still counting climb horses. RIP Climb 5.

You know, as much Tangos gunpowder farm is effective, this one is definitely my favorite. It feels so creative and uses what the create mod offers. Tangos farm feels vanilla but this is something that embodies the mod.

Windmill: spinning literally twice as fast Bdubs: I think it's an optical illusion

on the clock front: there is a mod called pocket watch, which allows you to see items like clocks and compasses by your hotbar if they are in your inventory, that way you can use the extendo grip and still see your clock at the same time!

You don't need to shrink your create automaton or use the blockers, Bdubs. All you need to do is power at least one empty block with redstone and it will automatically block all the empty slots and create your creation :)

I have watched a LOT of create content, and I can confidently say that the factory you just made is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. Not necessarily in pure utilization/optimization of the mechanics, but rather that the build is so cohesive between the machines and aesthetics, and it captures the *spirit* of the create mod in a way I've never seen before. Really amazing stuff Bdubs, I'm loving this series! ❤

I'm really glad you're keeping the principles of prettystone in create! Scar is constantly spouting about how pretty the mechanical components are, but it would be too wasteful (relatively) to not use them properly. So finding a way to get working machinery _and_ maintain the aesthetics? You really are getting your cake and eating it too!!

I love seeing how each Hermit tackles tasks and put their own creative spins on things. Bdubs' functional builds are fantastic.

You can use a blacklist filter for the side output that blocks cinder powder so you don’t have to keep switching the filter

you can have filters that filter multiple items, using one of these you wont have to keep changing the filter from sugar to crushed obi and you can just filter out both

Tip: you can use redstone to force auto crafters start crafting No more blockers or making it smaller

Tango: "I'm going to make a simple farm that gets at least 5000 drops per hour" B-Dubs: "Come on Tango... I have not spent the last two years pushing myself to become a better technical minecrafter to make a simple farm... I want all the bells and whistles... especially if it can have bells AND whistles"

I understand that there is no wind in Minecraft, but for an authentic vibe to windmill sails, just look at which way the clouds move. Awesome series, cheers.

I love the corrugated iron vibe that the barn has going on.

Maybe if you plan to have a train come close to the barn. You could have a train that delivers lava from either the main generator or a new building that produces a lot of lava

You might want to report that momentum bug with the horse to the mod author. I think Tango talked to them about a bug and they were able to patch it pretty quickly

Hey Bdubs, little tip... For that grindstone setup, you do NOT need an output filter for sugar or powdered obsidian when processing items other then netherrack as you have the filters setup so only the netherrack product goes onto the belts going into the gunpowder vault. That side chute you have setup will spit out anything that's not that cinderflower so when processing sugar or whatever else you don't need to set a filter there, it will automatically push out anything thats not cinderflower.

For the autocrafter, instead of blocking each slot with the panel things, you can just power the crafters and it will force a crafting procedure.

I think raycon is seeing just how much creativity they can squeeze out of Bdubs.

You can add an actual Filter (iron nuggets and wool) to your brass tunnel after your crusher and set it to anything *but* cinder powder.

If you craft a filter and set it to cinder flour, turn on blacklist and use that to set the filter on the tunnel you want non-cinderflour items to come out of, it will spit out everything except cinderflour!

Loving this new series, cant wait to see what this episode has in store 😭

You can use a redstone signal to start the crafting process of an autocrafter manually, blocking the inputs is mostly used if you want to automate recipes that have airblocks in it, that would cut the connection. I've put an extra block in the corners(brass casings look pretty good and also can hide the small cog that powers the whole machine) with a button on it, which works wonderful and looks pretty good in design. The only thing I wish would be possible is, to put the autocrafter on the ground to make a floor with it. It's alwys pretty challenging to find a good spot for a crafting setup that is able to make all recipes.

Such a cool way to make gunpowder! You can make a filter to blacklist cinder flower instead of replacing the crushed obsidian/ sugar each time :)

personally i always leave my clock in the 2nd last hotbar slot. right between my torches and my food.

Strongly recommend you put drip stone over the cauldron so the lava fulls up automatically and infinitely.

Could use a deny filter to keep cinder flour off the side belt, instead of swapping in the sugar and obsidian powder. This build is amazing BTW, and I'm really looking forward to making gunpowder this way in the future

I like the staggered spouts quite a bit. Also the general look of the barn is very very nice. Another successful build!

For the auxiliary output of the crushers, you can use a Filter that's just a blacklist containing only cinder flour, so any non-cinder-flour stuff you crush will come out the side, rather than having to swap the filter out.

That diamond horse armor got Bdubs excited... That makes it even more sadder then usual.

That gantry farm is actually better than a circle farm since you can disassemble it at any point without overriding any blocks! P.S. you can make a minecart contraption and hide the rails and cart underground, since contraptions can phase through blocks. You can use this to make vehicles like a combine harvester!

Mr Bdouble, if you make a item filter (2 iron nuggets and some wool) you can make that tunnel take out EVERYTHING that is NOT cinderflour. That should put a end to fiddling with what item needs to come out when.

'its a long process, but I love the steps' is a lovely way to think of a creative project.

4:15 the amount of sails does affect the speed as well as the stress capacity

Bdubs built all this in 3 days.. I struggle to finish Redstone in the vanilla game within weeks. Even when I get my stuff functional, it looks like Redstone Shulker threw up everywhere. Bdubs is a builder who can diversify, and I'm here for it.

The Mechanical crafter can be used in any shape, including empty spaces, and allows for ininfite custom crafting recipes for modpack makers, I love it IMO.

You can leave your clock in your hotbar to still be able to glance at it while using the extend-o-grip.

"Brass ingus" bdubs, you never fail to make me smile

Bdubs! at 30:12 you kept having to change the filter of that funnel. Instead, you should make a brass filter -> click on it -> select deny list -> put gunpowder and the crushed netherack stuff in the deny list -> now everything EXCEPT gunpowder will come out that filter. This will make it so you won't have to keep changing the filter :)

You can just do a redstone input like a button to tell it to do a craft when it's not all filled up. And that stone making machine or whatever next to that train will be the cause of the slideshow I imagine cause the trains run fantastic.

The extendo grip has durability, but if you have the air tank it will use that instead (just like the potato cannon), so remember to charge it sometimes

You are right with bigger wind-sails move faster. Tango mentioned it in one of his episodes.

Depots are an inventory, you can leave items on top of them and they won't despawn.

you can also force start the process via a redstone signal like a lever or button for the automated crafting grid. so if you're making a smaller multi item build you can just stat the process with a button over the small plate things imo.

Loving this series, you play this mod in the most unique way compared to anyone else who's played this mod. It's fascinating to watch

This type of build is what i wanted tonsee from thisod series. Would have been nice to see more of the bulding but i get it people like to see progress.

you can craft a filter that allows you to filter more than one object, so you dont have to keep switching the sugar cane/obsidion filter!! and if you have more items to crush in the future you can add them to the filter as well! :)
