Extremely CURSED Animal Crossing Manga 

This was supposed to be a nice, pleasant video. I was not prepared.

That kind of butt/toilet humor and ridiculous faces is a really common kind of manga generally referred to as "gag manga" ギャグ漫画. It's usually targeted at elementary schoolers (though the actual audience obviously varies) because they enjoy crude humor. Instead of any sort of serialized story its mostly just a general setup that allows them to move from one joke to another. Lots of all ages series have gag manga. Pokémon had one that ran for a long time, only ending fairly recently, but there's TONS of gag manga, dating back decades. It's usually drawn in a simpler style, ostensibly so kids who read it can draw the characters themselves. Basic summary provided by guy who lived in Japan for many years and worked in manga/video games.

Hold on to the straps like you mean it" 11:58 - 「この中になないみたい～」- "I don't think he's in here~" 12:22 - 「脱皮すれば飛べるよ。」- "If you molt, you can fly" - No idea about the context here. Dang this shit is bonkers lmao.

Peebs, you barely scratched the surface of how batshit crazy Coro Coro Comic’s manga can get (where these manga as well as many other come from, including Splatoon). I highly suggest you import a recent issue or pre-ordering it if you REALLY wanna go down the rabbit hole of insanity

I got the VIZ English translated "New Horizons: Deserted Island Diary 1" manga recently. It's very amusing and insane. Still has some crude humor surprisingly, and thankfully uncensored. (Still has an "all ages" rating too.) Has a nice portion of the book dedicated to character profiles, and the author shows off her AC town in a 4 page mini comic with her favorite villager Diva. It's funny Raymond's personality differs a bit from the game, and fan depictions. He's a total insane egomaniac in the manga. (And yes, naked Raymond is uncensored, granted nothing is showing, and he never wears pants anyway.)

The New Leaf era of magna seems like a fever dream. How could such a wholesome game become so cursed?

The Splatoon manga gets pretty cursed at times too

The New Leaf manga is extremely Coro Coro, I'm not surprised it's as wild and vulgar as it is, lol. Coro Coro Magazine is for young boys, before they go to something like Shonen Jump, and that type of humor is really popular in Japan. We American don't really get it! Also the protagonist of that manga gave me Crayon Shin-Chan vibes, and, yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if his personality was based off of that series. I'm not sure why Animal Crossing was in Coro Coro, or why it turned out the way it did (not every Coro Coro manga/series has this kind of low brow humor, but it is predominant), but hey, what can you do. Makes for a good video, though.

I bet making the Japanese human facial features on Cute Anthropomorphic Animals would had gotten like how they did over Jojo’s Bizarre adventure would’ve gotten this much more bizarre-r unlike any other Anime would have in the first place. I mean it’s no big deal, but in a few episodes of various anime and cartoons, they did the same thing with these cursed faces of The Jojo Trend as well.

Ah yes our favorite character, "shit p!" Also the first name of the manga is どうぶつの森 ホヒンダ村だより Also, most of the manga are not the same. One way you can tell is by looking at the author which is seen clearly.

The first couple were slice of life and all about furniture and friendship. That's because the main character (i.e Player) was a girl. Notice in the New Leaf manga, the main character was a boy (i.e Player). The difference is the contrast between male and female players. And trust me, when I play New Leaf, I am attempting to catch sharks with my ass. Also, 17:18 is what happens when a JoJo Fan plays Animal Crossing...

Peebs in case you don't know, those manga are 4-koma style. Think of them as Japanese comic gags, like the funny pages here. They are usually wild and mostly based around puns and slap-stick. If you want stupid, check out the ones about Hulk Hogan.

Cijvfikb yeah some humoristic media in JPN are very butt poopoo peepee centered lol I assume they are most of the times targeted to younger audience but honestly I found it hilarious especially the expressions of characters that are just pure meme content. Humoristic slice of life anime and manga are honestly hilarious. Like Nichjou for example really made me physically cry of laughter sometimes

I don’t have it anymore, but a very long time ago when I was a kid, I had a large Shoujo manga book (I think it was called “Ribbon”). Point is, it had a very strange magical girl animal crossing manga where the villager girl had a very large protruding belly button and I think that was the source of her magic. I wish I still had it, but the book was so old and torn I had to throw it away. :/

Yoooo the New Leaf gag manga reminds me of Crayon Shin-chan with all the butt jokes! Man, it makes me so sad to think they'll never try to translate those for Western fans. They look absolutely hilarious, I was cry-laughing for a second there just looking at the drawings alone

Methinks the author(s) of this were heavily inspired by Crayon Shin Chan. Among other wacky stuff. Not gonna lie, the cursed comics look genuinely hilarious.
