Looking into it, it sounds like Raid has a pretty standard if not slightly better-than-average pity system compared to the number of free pulls you get. I couldn't find info on the cost of pulls, though I saw someone complaining that they dropped 150 dollars on the game and only got 3 golds and no legendaries (not positive what that means, but given what I know about other gacha games (I only play Genshin Impact), I'm guessing golds are 5*/second-tier rarity and legendaries are max rarity), and someone responding to them saying they were stupid for not pulling on a rate-up (which tells me that like Genshin and apparently most gacha games Raid does have rate ups, and you are indeed pretty dumb to pull on anything else). (Mental illness though! This person clearly has a gambling addiction to pour 150 dollars into the game, in one sitting nonetheless, and then just say they feel "discouraged" from throwing more money at the game in the future.) That said, the biggest red flag to me is that the game apparently has pvp and is indeed p2w from what I'm reading. Like I said, the only gacha I have firsthand experience with is Genshin, which does not have combat PvP (it's had a prop hunt PvP event, but character choice didn't matter much there and the best character for it, a tall (and therefore fast) dude with 25% more stamina than other characters, is free), so I don't have experience with how cancerous pay-to-win pvp feels to play even with a generous pity system. Also holy shit people in the Raid community all unironically talk like stereotypical late 00s dewritos cowadooty fratboy xbox gamers. It's kind of unsettling, I didnt think those people actually existed for real.
