I left Jamaica 48 years ago and had planned to return, but the crimes that are taking place there are telling me to stay where I am. Will I ever be comfortable returning?
I think you will eventually be comfortable returning. I left 55 years ago as well and have the same concern. I think that we as Jamaicans have a natural anger pitted against each other and that the Chinese are using that as a divide and conquer method to take over the natural talents and value vested in Jamaica from the almighty. And who is to blame? Us. Look up a song by Kieth Hudson called Jamaicans angry and listen carefully to the words. It is really called Angry people. and as exiles from Africa. We are! Jah Bless.
