I have yet to hear you guys using a cackler call. Real high pitched. When I am blowing mine it just about deafens my hunting partner. They can hear it 3/4 mi away, then finish with a softer cack call.

hey bobby, i hunt this small flooded pond with a dam and duck blind. the ducks roost in it overnight most of the time. our numbers have been declining and was wondering if you had any advice

I have hunted all waterfowl for over 25 years with a 20 Guage and it is tough in groups like this one when they call the shots before they get in close. What was your take? I always tell them to let them get in 20 gauge range!

Man that this was beautiful, I saw a Honker-Spec hybrid when I was practicing for a fishing tournament here in PA. Coolest waterfowl bird I ever saw, I’m sitting there like screaming at my friend and his dad and family friend-that’s a hybrid!!!!! That’s a hybrid!!!!!! And they were like eh that’s cool. But they never waterfowl hunted so it wasn’t the same😂 This year I’m hoping to get out and shoot a honker longer than the gun I have, youth model Remington 870. Great vid good luck out there!
