I love your ShotKam videos, so I enjoy when you shoot with the clients. Some clients may not want you to shoot with them and that’s fine. To get more ShotKam footage, maybe let an adult client shoot with it. When they go back to the lodge and watch that video, Oh boy, that will be a fun time. You’ll definitely help sell more ShotKam’s.

It is my firm belief that guide services should not hunt or have buddies join in on hunts when taking out paying clients. If that's happening, it just feels like you're being charged to join in on a hunting group that isn't paying anything. That's what 90% of guides these days feel like, just 3 or 4 buddies that have access to a lot of land... they're going to hunt anyways, might as well charge a handful of other people to join us. I could even argue that helping clean up decoys should not be something asked of clients.

Flock shooting into 500 birds at 15:00. A handful drop while 100 fly off to die over the next day or so. Conservation at its worst. When there are 8 guys in my blind, we shoot the first 8 birds that get to the decoys. Waiting for that giant flock means killing one bird and crippling 10, and is part of why waterfowl limits continue to drop.

Awesome... For safety sake... I’d not allow anyone to handle an uncased gun inside of lodge... Just a suggestion from someone that has been a water Fowler for over 50 yrs, farmer Guide, and professional safety consultant over over 32 yrs...

Bobby dont worry about the haters. I've seen them as well. What these people don't realize is that hunting is a dying sport. Either because of people getting out of it or people trying to take our hunting away. All hunters no matter what you hunt should be locked in arms and fighting together. Not bashing each other over petty crap that they don't do or believe in. United We Stand, Divided We Fall. Enjoy what you do and how you do it and don't bash someone else because that don't do it the same as you do. Love the content Bobby. Keep it up.

I don't know much about dsiuck guides, but I know fishing guides some are cool, but some would complain about finding a quarter. Gossipy teen girls is what they act like. Keep your eyes forward and take care of your business Bob, that's all you can do. Your clients opinions are the only one's that count.

Bob shoot if u don’t allow your self to shoot it will become work instead of doing what u love. I’m young and figured that out wit the first bowfishing charter I deckhanded for. He wouldn’t let me shoot fish. I would stand and watch and help talking about boring. It made fishing work instead of doing what I loved.

Okay this is just my opinion you may never see this or read it but first of all I’m so happy for you and your family. But my point was I would consider running Fred ad having Gerald in the middle of the blind so he can communicate to all the hunters on when to start and stop calling. It will just be easier for him to manage the group from the middle of the blind. I understand he can’t do that with a dog though. Let me know if you see this and like my idea!
