18 Aug 2011 - These are some of the scenes of the youth of the world celebrating in the streets of Madrid while awaiting the pope for the welcoming ceremonies on the day of his arrival in Spain. The streets of the city center were lined with pilgrims hoping to get a glimpse of the popemobile before it got to Plaza de Cibeles. They then would watch his address via the huge screens throughout the area. The common WYD chant you hear in Spanish, "Esta es la juventud del Papa!" means "This is the youth of the pope!"
