I loved these simple tips and examples, especially using and staggering multiples, risers, and stacking. I'm a total newbie, but these videos get me really excited to try it all out! I'd LOVE to see a video about styling other types of products, especially fashion products like hats, bags, shoes, other accessories, and clothing. Thank you!
The citrus styling tip was like you had been eavesdropping on my thoughts! I was just wondering if we could have open citrus touch our boards and also how to prop them up in a photos. Great simple ideas that I wouldn't have thought of.
As a small business owner the need for content creation can be SO daunting. I really appreciate how approachable and simple these videos and Replica Surfaces make the process! Would love to see some videos on styling with movement, specifically drink pouring/splashing etc.
You have enough on your plate as a small business owner, we want to help make your life easier! 🤩 Thank you so much for the movement and drink pouring/splashing suggestion, Jocelyn!! We'll definitely make a note of it!! 😍
Another great video, thank you - amazing suggestions! Also agree with Vanessa...would love to see some styling tips for fashion products and larger products. Thank you so much for continuing to do these videos!
I love all of RS videos and because of RS I think I have a very good handle of using light room. I make handmade soaps and always struggle with styling as I don't want to overshadow the soap. I am looking for a great takeaway from this video, I know I will, :)
Yay thanks for doing a product styling video! The first image with the 3 products on a diagonal was striking. I'm trying that one out with my games right away!
These tips are very helpful for a true beginner like me. They give me the inspiration to help me come up with my own styling! Can't wait to get some Replica Surfaces
Thanks for the walkthrough on how to style products! I recently tried to style some items I had gotten for free and this gives me some ideas of what I could have done differently
I'm so glad I found this channel- they have a video for every question I come up with. Loads of useful tips and ideas which are actually practical and achievable for photography novices like me!
Lovely examples! I have a challenge... I have to do some product images this Saturday for a company selling knitted winter hats for kids - both images with the hats on the heads of the kids and other images that are 'just' styled.... Since that can't stand on their own and a flatly only gives a few images and i need many with variation I would love to hear ANY KIND of tips from others. I appreciate a lot 🙏🏻😊
I love the idea of using a riser and using fresh props! I made a homemade hot sauce last summer and we used some frech props around the bottle of sauce for that fresh /natural feel. The only thing we were missing at the time was a backdrop/background like the Replica Surface!
Thanks so much for watching this one, Eva! I am so thrilled you found it helpful! Do you think you'll use any of these in your next product photoshoot? 🤩
@@replicasurfaces Oh yes!!! For sure! I just received the Smoke, Desert Clay and Black Marble so I am looking forward to working with these surfaces and doing eye level shots! Excited to learn these tricks! My name is actually Renee but my business name is Eva Renee Creatives! 😉
@@replicasurfaces hmmmm... all of them 😂. I'm going to try the multiples and stacking. I am so lost when it comes to styling so it's nice to see tips for simple styling using the products themselves.
Thank you so much for demystifying what has always been the hardest part of online selling for me: the product photography! These simple tips (love the multiples and leaning!), make it much less intimidating!
@Replica Surfaces I have vintage wood and desert clay coming in! (I've got my eye on plenty more too 😍) at the moment I'll be photographing some Equestrian related products (jewelry, etc.) but as I'm just getting back into the product photography world I'll be using anything and everything interesting in the house to practice with! Thank you SO MUCH for all the tips in this video and others, y'all are an amazing resource
If it weren't for my replica surfaces and all your styling/photography/editing tips, Mandy, I wouldn't have been able to pivot into product photography back when the country was on full lockdown mode and I had to refund all the families I was supposed to photograph. This seems so easy but could easily take up hours to do!
I love the tip to used stacked tiles, coasters or anything you can stack! Also, I think I’ll try fresh props next. Now I know to cut a flat bottom on the fruit so it doesn’t move. It seems I should also try flowers and leaning and object to add visual interest. I can’t wait to search your IG for more tips. Well done!!!
I love all the amazing educational videos you put out! I literally binge watch them. I'd particularly love to see more videos on how to take great pics using a phone. Thanks a lot go the amazing content.
This video is literally perfect! So much info and helpful tips while getting straight to the point. I just wish you all were linked with a flexpay-type site, like Afterpay or Klarna.
Thanks for the kind words!! We appreciate you watching! 🥰 Thanks for letting us know you'd like to see us offer AfterPay or Klarna! We do offer two different "pay-over-time" options with Bread! Here's the page with more info! www.replicasurfaces.com/pages/pay-over-time
I love these tips because they are so simple! I’ve been playing with my RS over the weekend & actually have been trying out styling with risers, leaning, & depth!
I love how simple these were! I feel like I’m over-styling, but I love the leaning and the leaf, so I’ll be trying those! Thank you so much for the helpful advice!
Always gotta keep innovating our styling techniques! Thanks for watching and sharing the love on this one, Bey! 💖 Can't wait to see what you do with that citrus trick!
Mandy, these simple tips and examples shredded so much light for me. You've really helped me see how and what I can do with the simple things I have in my house without having to go buy more props. I definitely will be using these tips when I take product photos moving forward. They were seriously SO helpful. Thanks so much! Keep these videos coming because I truly find them super insightful.
@@replicasurfaces I definitely loved all of them. But if I had to choose I loved the multiples and the stacking. It helps gives me better guidance on how I can incorporate more than product. I usually have trouble deciding on how to shoot multiple items. Please keep these tips coming!
This was incredibly helpful... simple yet doable ideas! Thank you! Also, I'd love to see styling techniques for flat items like photographs or artwork, I'm really struggling to get these photographed well. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and thank you so much for the video suggestion, Juli!! We'll definitely see what we can do about getting some more flat lay styling tips for you with an emphasis on styling flat items like photographs & artwork!! I think there are lots of people who would love a tips video like that! 🥰
It really is better to keep the styling simple sometimes! Thanks so much for watching, Heather! Think you'll give any of these a try in your own photos? 🥰
It’s so nice hearing these tips even for someone experienced like myself, I always like hearing and seeing what other people say and do for their work! I can’t wait to start shooting on my surfaces now that we’re reunited again! 😅
@@replicasurfaces I’ll be baking through a cookbook I got for Christmas as well as doing more savory food and beverage shots and some more high-end cosmetics shoots too! 😁😁 Lots to do!
