Thank you. As an ophthalmologist who has taught students, doctors, nurses, and the public for 40 years and followed your videos for 3-4 years now, please stay enthusiastic and excited about your chosen profession...BUT, So sad and disappointed that the 2022 you quote did not credit the original author from 1980s...

Hi, glad you like the channel. I cited the AAO source I found this list on in the description. I wasn’t aware there was a preceding article. If you want to share it I can include it in the description. Cheers 🙌🏼

Wow, Very informative! Just one question, further elaborating on one of the myths you answered to. So does using a screen in the dark cause actual myopia, does it actually elongate your eyeball?

I’ve always wondered if staring at the Sun would truly burn a hole in your eyeball. Thank you for answering this!

Hello, my name is Rasheed. I want to be a Optometrist when I grow up, I just turned 16 today. I was wondering what premed majors are good to be an Optometrist. I currently want to take biomedical science. I don’t know if that’s a good choice or should I take another major. Is there any way I can talk to you so I can understand more about this? I am really sorry that I am commenting this but I am stuck and I really need someone to guide me to the right path. Thank you and have a wonderful day to anyone that is reading this. Again, I am really sorry.

Hey Rasheed, I think you may have mixed optometry with ophthalmology. If you want to do optometry you don't have to go to medical school or residency. You have to get a bachelors degree and then apply to optometry school (check what their requirements are). Ophthalmologists on the other hand go to medical school and then complete at least 4 years of residency. On of the biggest differences between ophthalmologists and optometrists is that ophthalmologists do procedures and surgeries of the eye while optometrists don't. As to your question about what you should major in, it really does not matter that much. While it might make your life easier to major in something biology related just because most of the medical school pre-req courses will be required for your major, from what I understand medical schools don't really care. Find something you enjoy learning about and major in it. I personally majored in neuroscience, and I loved it. By the way I'm starting medical school this fall.

@@Khamis_Suleiman Thank you, I hope you do great on medical school. Now I am sorry that I am asking a lot of questions. I also like neuroscience, was that major hard? I know that it’s hard but did it take all you time or did you have time to work too? This is a personal question and you don’t how to answer if you don’t want to. What you going to specialize in? Sorry again that I am asking so much questions, I am just confused and wanting answers. I also hope you do great on medical school.

I may disapoint you, sungazing exersises directly got my eyesight back from 05 to 45% probably because worms did not like it and left my eyeball. It is safe as it's supposed to be done when sun is setting or when covered by cloud not too bright ofcourse.. Sunlight through eyes absorbed induces most vit D and has great effect on glands such as pituitary where also often tumor's are found and helps shrink tumor probably caused by parasites too. Besides Sun is emiting a whole lot of different waves and frequency 's colors, can help boost serotonine calm nervous systemv may reduce stress levels, oxytocin levels go up, by stimulating pituitary also stimulates digestion and sexual hormones improvement improve meditation concentration restful peaceful sleep, strenghten spiritual connection and give a sense of bliss. and fullfillment better than food and sex
