Hi!
My name is Justin and I have my managed my family's business (S&K Greenhouse) for the last 10 years! It is a local garden center in Shelby, NC that my family started around 25 years ago.
We have a strong desire to discuss and teach gardening to the online community and welcome anyone who wants to learn. Though we have been involved in the plant world for decades we have found that there is always something to learn when it comes to gardening.

Thank you for such a great run down. I often get calls from people in the south inquiring about our plants and it is good to get a better idea of conifers that can thrive in your climate. Being in Oregon, it is a very different situation. Great video!

I work at a perennial tree and shrub farm/nursery specializing in conifers and Japanese Maples and I've never seen that little Franky Boy. Holy cow it would look so good in my yard. I'm definitely showing it to my boss and begging them to get some in. Thanks AGAIN!!

I wish I had 1/10th of your energy! Big fan of evergreens and continue to fill my little plot with them. I live in zone 5b in Nova Scotia, one of the most easternmost provinces in Canada. I must confess, I'm a little envious of what you can grow, but it's plenty hot & humid here in the summer (high 80s) I'd melt like Frosty in South Carolina. You & Bruce are so inspiring! Keep up the youtubes ... I absolutely love them & learning more about conifers from the pair of you.

Glad to see you are carrying the Iseli Nursery product line. Your customers will be very happy. Superior product! In almost 30 years of buying their plants I have never had any problems with their plants...even after having to move some of them a couple of times. The conifers from E#$%^@ Nursery who is also out in Oregon that you have featured in previous videos are in my opinion not even close in quality to Iseli stock. Think it would be a good follow up video to interview the people from Iseli, and have them describe their production process. Its quite an impressive process. It's no wonder so many conifer lovers buy from them.😀

Your energy level is thru the roof😊 Question, I have a drive way entrance that I need identify the opening so cars can safely turn in, I like the “DWARF ALBERTA SPRUCE, JEAN’S DILLY” What size container do I need to be able to plant this in so I can just leave it without any further transplanting. Justin...Great video. How do you remember all those cool names of each tree? and....how does one choose which one to buy when you make them all so appealing. We start building our Forever home here in Kentucky next June and I get so excited about the possibilities that you present. I'm like a 67 year old kid in a Candy Shop. I too love Justin’s enthusiasm; his excitement is contagious! We just moved into a new construction home (zone 8b, Foley, AL) Oct 2022; we are 67 & 74 years young. It’s been a exciting & frustrating at the same time; requires patience. Everyone needs a Justin in their area. Sending you positive vibes to get your house built and your landscape done; not that anyone is ever done where landscape is involved.

Justin, do conifer roots harm home foundations or sidewalks? I have a small lot in zone 8b, Foley, AL. I’d love to have conifers and/or evergreens, but I’m only on a 50’ wide x 120’ long lot. My back yard is 20’ deep by 50’ wide. Can you recommend a few? I then need to see if I can find them in my area. I love your videos, especially the ones you do with Bruce.
