EYE TRACKER DEMONSTRATION 

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A well-known Charlotte eye doctor is accused of sexual exploitation against a woman he had a working relationship with. Dr. Jonathan Christenbury walked out of a Mecklenburg County courtroom Monday afternoon with a notepad covering his face. He was in court responding to a lawsuit filed against him. Christenbury is married and the owner of Christenbury Eye Center at 3621 Randolph Road in southeast Charlotte. In the lawsuit, Stephanie Simonson alleges she was fired from her job with a medical supplier as a result of an affair with Christenbury. He was accused of showing her employer nude pictures of her after the affair ended. Christenbury was also accused of posting the pictures on a website. Simonson sued to recover damages for physical, mental and emotional harm. She says Christenbury's actions had a negative effect on her character and career. Both sides reached a settlement Monday afternoon. Terms of the settlement are confidential. Christenbury said in court documents the lawsuit could be damaging to his career and reputation. He filed papers to keep proceedings and paperwork private. Some documents in the file are still under seal. Christenbury was also connected to Sallie Saxon in the lawsuit. The former SouthPark Madam was convicted two years ago of running a high-end prostitution ring. Saxon was called to testify as a potential witness in the case.
