But I'm just wondering how to write the comment with my eyes closed, Dalton? Hmmmmmmm... well, I'll just cheat a bit, because as they say, "Ignorance is Bliss." ... Okay, I didn't say anything at all! 😉 In any case, the thumbnail looks very promising, you with that unusually chic hat. 🤠 It radiates a relaxed and cozy atmosphere and makes me curious about what's to come. Also, I'm definitely not going back to sleep now because I just woke up when this video came online. It's very early morning here, haha! What did you say to me in your last "follow my instructions" video? -> "I thought you'd get a kick out of this video". Yes, my kick is definitely back! 🤩 So I'm starting my day with a fun little bliss kick from you, Dalton! lol There's really no better way to start into my day... again! Okay, let's get started then! I'm already looking forward to it... 😄 *I. Light test* Okay, this test doesn't really work in daylight. I think I'll test it again in more detail when I go to bed in the dark, and definitely with my eyes closed, haha. This light is quite big and blindingly bright. But the idea is a good one. And I can already feel myself starting to relax. *II. Word opposites* Okay, let's practise together using an example... The opposite of "heart"? -> Hmmm, that's not easy. I'll say "head". Although, when I think of the card game Skat, I also think of clubs, spades and diamonds. Okay, then tell me your solution, please! WHAT? "cold", no, that's not the opposite of "heart". Yeah well, if you don't have a heart, then you're cold too, lol. So, you must have said "hot", right? Sounds a bit similar... so either I misheard or you mispronounced... hmmm. Let's ask the automatic subtitles how they see it... haha, they think you said "heart" too. 😜 Okay, now it counts! 1. light -> dark, darkness 2. day -> night 3. awake 😳 -> tired, sleepy 🥱 -> asleep 😴 -> fun in dreamland 🥳 And no, I still haven't fallen asleep again because it's daylight here!!! 😉 4. chair -> Okay, that's really more difficult. Is there even an opposite of chair? Many people would probably say "table" now, I think. I'll say "hammock" because a chair is normally on the floor and I sit on it. A hammock, however, hangs in the air and I lie in it. It's a bit the opposite, haha. And if I stay with the abstract and my fantasy and imagination, I'll say "horse". And since I have to explain that, here's another funny anecdote from my life: Little Franzi at her school enrollment check-up At this event, there was a wonderful eye exam for preschoolers who can't read yet, with lots of colorful pictures, including several different chairs. So the doctor always pointed to a picture and I was supposed to tell him what I saw on it. And every time he pointed to a chair, I said it was a horse. He probably thought I wasn't quite right in my head until my mom explained to him that my uncle was to blame for this strange thing. He often drew with me, but in a really crazy way. When he was supposed to draw me a horse, he always made a great line drawing that somehow looked like a chair, because both things have four legs and you can sit on both, everything else was secondary, haha! 😂 5. oven -> refrigerator, freezer 6. umbrella -> Definitely a shower, because an umbrella keeps you dry and a shower gets you wet. 🙃 7. key -> Yes, my absolute favorite word!!! Thanks for the sudden hearty laugh! ❤ Okay, the opposite of key... what am I thinking of now? There are sooo many possibilities. Hmmm, so if I now play a melody on a few piano keys with my fingers and type in a secret word on my computer keys, will a secret door open in front of me that I didn't know about before? But now I don't know where the opposite things are here... 😉 *III. Think of a letter!* Good that you used letters that I know. In other languages I would say I'm tired, I don't know, I can't, I don't want to! But I was waiting for the letter "Z" the whole time. Unfortunately it didn't come. 🥺😉 *IV. As it is quite easy to recognize, the test with near and far or left and right makes sense of course. I really like this movement effect away from or towards the ear and how it changes the volume. 6. scissor sounds -> Okay, here the same as with the tuning fork, very easy to recognized sound. Thank you! 😄 *VII. New triggers to test my hearing again* 1. Brush -> OMG... hmmm... This task is way too hard! I can't really concentrate at all when brushing. 😉 How many times did you brush my ears? And was it left or right? I don't know, I think I've already forgotten, lol... but you're welcome to keep brushing and please don't stop!!! That feels soooooo good! My two spoiled ears are already back in the "Ear Paradise of Bliss" and completely enchanted. 💖 2. Five things around me -> I wonder if this is a hearing test? Hmmm, probably more of a thinking test, haha. Okay, here we go! So I'm going to imagine five things that I would like to have around me but don't have. It's somehow more exciting. 🙃 - a waterbed -> That would be an improvement. - a chocolate fountain! Or? No, I'd rather have an ice cream machine. Or would I prefer both? I'm still thinking about it... -> It's extremely warm here at the moment. - a pool -> Cooling off in the water would be heavenly right now. - a masseur -> Yes... I'm just imagining I'm lying in the pool on my floating waterbed, the chocolate fountain and the ice cream machine are busy producing treats for me to enjoy and my private masseur is getting to work pampering me. 😍 But something is still missing... hmmm... ah, I've got it! - a cuddly cat lying next to me on the waterbed and purring loudly! Yeah, that's number 5 and the best of all. 🥰 3. Okay, let's continue with the hearing tests... This noise sounded like horses clattering. Or was it some kind of very fast tapping sound? Tapping on the palm of the hand? 4. gentle blowing!!! 😌 5. once again the laser sword... I mean the hand fan, of course! 😉 *VIII. A few more trigger tests* 1. small light -> This is definitely very calming again, but I'll have to test it again in the dark. However, I find the smaller light more pleasant. 2. pen clicking -> also a good test, but since you distracted my ears with your finger on the mic just before, they weren't able to count the clicks, sorry! 😉 *IX. One last instruction* Oh yes, this is an important instruction! Active deep breathing is very good for me and is also super pleasant on my ears. 😌 *Listen again with the sound of rain* Now it really clicked for me and I understand why you have this fancy hat on, namely because of the rain variant, fits great! 👍 Unfortunately, it's not so easy to distinguish from the background, but with so many closed eyes and to fall asleep, a very dark background is best anyway. *Summary* Thanks, Dalton, 🤗❤ that was another very nice video with great instructions, very imaginative ideas, old familiar and new things too. Everything was nice and easy to follow, even with my eyes closed. It was a lot of fun. And the alternation between light triggers, sound triggers and imagination and brain work was wonderful. I also really liked your slow hand movements together with the recurring words "Close your eyes, you can sleep at any time". That was super relaxing. My favorite tasks were II, IV, VII and VI 🥰 especially because you didn't give the first two objects away straight away. I'm curious to see your solution though, although I'm pretty sure I guessed it right! Is this second part better than the first? -> This is difficult to answer. Both were fun and relaxing. Personally, I found today's video maybe a tiny bit easier, I think, which is more comfortable to fall asleep to. And your hat was definitely a plus. 😄💚

I feel like there are some flaws with the light instructions. For starters, your videos are fairly cool toned, and the light was cool. Second, you're wearing a white shirt which diminishes the contrast of the light. Since there's not much "extra light" coming out of the screen and brightness values are capped, you need to make sure that there's a bigger contrast in color temperature and brightness values between everything else on screen and the light.
