Just found your channel. I love that you heavily remark on the eyeshadow formulas vs. just the aesthetics, which means that you really do use your palettes. How refreshing for such a sizable collection! I like my shimmers wet/creamy/textured especially if they're supposed to be toppers, so I get your frustration when they're dry. New sub here! 🤎

I've tried Disney palettes from Catrice and Essence. And if you're intersted in one of their palettes i would recommend the Disney palette from Catrice. I find their formula a bit better compared to the Essence palettes. The small 5 pan palettes from Catrice and their LE palettes are really nice too. Very nice collection ☺

For Oden’s Eye, I’ve never tried older palettes so I can’t speak to the difference in formula but I have the Hela, Solmane II and the 3 new collabs and I love them all. I think you would like it since you like the Nomad shimmers when they aren’t hard panned. Totally understand if you aren’t there yet on trusting the formula, though. I’ve felt the same way when I’ve been burned by a brand before! The Cartegena Magica palette is by far my favorite Nomad palette. Thanks for sharing, wonderful way to start my day while I’m trying to get up and moving. ❤

As for ABH, my favorite ones are soft glam and Amrezy

26:44 yes…same. Colorpop is overwhelming. And I didn’t love their shock Much shadows. Colorpop is a local company for me. So not expensive. But I like other brands even if other brands are more expensive.

As one that owns tons of Natasha Denona palettes and I’ve owned like five maybe more Alter Ego palettes, they are sooooo close to Natasha Denona honestly I would have kept them but I already owed ND and I was always grabbing those instead of the Alter ego so I gave them all away so that someone else could use them but yeah they are very close to Natasha Denona I was able to compare when I owned both. I had Biba and Gold, Sunrise I think those are the only ones I bought that were the same I owed the Huda one and the Sultry dupe as well and the sultry was holy crap close like I honestly couldn’t tell the difference but I did get rid of all of alter ego because I own the originals

Honestly the shimmers in my Subculture are lackluster too and the mattes are all really dark, the red one looks grey on my eye😅😅 it was def a fail buy for me
