This is, by far, the most cut-throat eyeshadow palette declutter I have yet seen. Love it! Great inspiration for me, especially since I just moved and need to cut down even more on stuff. 😅
As someone who could never afford to buy the palettes I wanted, and watching all those beautiful palettes decluttered, my heart is breaking a little. 😉 Loved the video though!
I had to pause and rewind back what I heard .. you have 10 cats and 2 dog !?! Im subscribed! Lol! And omg your eyeshadow collection!!! I get heart broken every time I do a declutter. Kudos to you for your doing so.
Yeah we have quite a few animals, but we are softies who pick up every stray animal we see and if we don't find their owners, they become part of our family!
I have 5 palettes. No decluttering for me, lol! You were cutthroat, and I really enjoyed watching this video. I'm a new subscriber, and I've been binging your videos the past few days. 😂
oh the daisy colorpop is so pretty and my aesthetic, I just went on a no eyeshadow buy when it came out. My eyes got really bad allergies (not to their make up but general allergies) and I cant wear all my pretty eye shadow as much
You can use eyeshadow pigments to make paint/ watercolors. Just an idea I wanted to share if anyone creative or artistic out there is looking for a fun way to use these so they don't go to waste. There are a ton of tutorials on it and it's actually pretty easy. It's really a question of time for me personally but it's a great way to use these beautiful colors which might not last on the eye or which are finicky formulas as eyeshadow. I wonder if it is possible to use these with resin like you would with mica for woodworking projects... not sure if they would last or show up as much though. On the other hand eyeshadows typically have a ton of mica in them. If you look into the kids who go into unsafe mines to dig out mica and breathein mica dust it's really heartbreaking. I saw a documentary on it here on youtube. It was called something like "the ugly side of beauty" and is really informative. It's crazy how many of us have more makeup and clothing etc. than we can ever use that just gets thrown out at the end of the day and how many brands and celebs are just saturating the market with more of the same while others are risking so much to mine mica etc. I'm not looking down on anybody or judging the channel owner or anyone else just to be clear, I'm only sharing my thoughts.
I am very intrigued about using it in resin...My husband and I own a 3d printing company, I am curious how well these would mix with our resin we use, or if it might gunk up the printers. I will look into it! Thank you for the unique idea
A tip for Natasha‘s formula: I use the Mac Eye Prep + Prime. And NYX Glitter Glue for the shimmers, that way the shadows stay on the whole day (at least for me). Id say if you have a problem with fading try to blend on an unset base.
I hope you can remember this palette you kept it it’s by Kat Von D and you swatches two of the shimmers in the middle of the palette calling them liquid metal? What is the name of that palette? I know it’s discontinued but I am going to try and find a gently used one.
I like BH Cosmetics, and I was scouring the TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores for the palettes after they declared bankruptcy and found several but only bought a few of the Sweet Shoppes, 2 of which I don't use and I will pass to my nieces. Avocado Toast and Blueberry Muffin are two that I nearly bought but ultimately decided to leave at the store. I will say now that I am glad I didn't buy any of them. The one Sweet Shoppe I do like is Pistachio and will keep that one but I don't use mine a ton either, but I don't have many palettes to begin with. Good video and declutter.
U have a huge good collection 😍.. Right now I don't have anyone of it but Wish to have some of them some day 💕 u did a good job, love this video and ur sweet voice is just so calm and peacefull to hear. ❤lots of love
For a normal declutter my makeup goes to my daughters. For this declutter since I was moving, some were sold, some were given to an art class, my daughters took some, and the rest were trashed.
I have so much regret for not buying Haunted Europe on the recent sale. If you are willing to list the Nomad winter ski lodge palette I'd like to buy it please, I do not mind the heavy usage on the blue shade
You shouldn't apologize for having pets, it's your home! Love a declutter where people actually get rid of stuff and don't save it for a comparison video they might need to do 2 years from now or for nostalgic reasons...
Omgg! So many palettess😱 my heart almost ached when u decluttered the colorpop, too faced, lorac, Natasha denona, Anastasia palettes!!!!! I have watched so many declutter videos and i always wonder how do the youtuber feel while decluttering......like do you feel sad or just like getting rid of some unwanted stuff? 😅 Anyways great declutter as u realllyyyy decluttered a lot of stuff 🙌✨
Unfortunately this declutter was really harsh due to the move. We are only renting a small trailer to make a 16 hour drive so space is at a premium. But in general when I declutter I am usually just giving it to one of my teenage daughters so if I miss it I can always borrow it back 🤣 That of course didn't happen with this declutter so I am a little sad to see some of these palettes go
@@impossiblenonsense Ohh!! And yeah giving the palettes to ur daughters is the best as it also might help u to know what all decluttered palettes u miss using and also the ones whose absence doesn't make much difference!! Great decision 🤣👍🏻
No. It is not you. You might have more luck with mac paint pot or makeup by mario master eye prep & set eye primer. I have an issue with the cream to powder formula in these palettes. The ND Lila palette and this ND Sunset palette doesn’t want to stay on my lids. I needed a better primer. I don’t have issues with her midi palettes ($67).
Thank you for the tips! I tried the palette again without setting the primer and using the NYX glitter glue and it stays on my eyes slightly better, but still fades, just not as bad. I haven't tried her midi palettes, but I have tried a mini palette and didn't have an issue with fading.
This declutter I gave the pressed pigments to an art class, sold the gently used on Poshmark and threw away the remaining. Most of the time when I declutter I give the palettes to my teenage daughters.
Colourpop eyeshadow primer isn’t that great, in my opinion. Don’t have a good experience with that formula. Maybe you need a better eye primer for Glamlite/Nomad cosmetics eyeshadow.
We love animals...and we used to live by an animal dumping site so quite a few of them used to be someone else's pets and they released them for one reason or another and they ended up in our yard and we just couldn't say no to an animal in need!
I'll gladly take the used pallets after you go thru and see the ones your going to sell and give away. I know some people that will accept b used pallets. You can dm me on IG. Up to you. Great job decluttering.
