I love the Cutie palettes......and I own every....single.....one of them!😲😁😂🤣 I remember almost fainting when I saw you use the GlamShop Camo palette..it was magnificent! It looked equally magnificent on you! Cold sores definitely rear their ugly heads during stressful times! They take so long to heal, and the scar takes even longer to fade. I haven't had one in years, but I used to get them often. You have a wonderful collection! Don't ever apologize for keeping what you love, RU-vid channel or not! I have even more unused palettes. 🙃 A year of not working during covid, not wearing makeup, and still buying everything, resulted in having a ridiculous number of eyeshadow palettes that I could never use in three lifetimes! I'm not buying any more! I'm trying to analyze the new and recreate with the old...it's working so far. After 6 months, I'll begin allowing myself one item a month. Black Friday and the holidays are right around the corner..I'll just be smarter in my choices. I wish I had friends in real life that cared about makeup.. I'm thinking of putting eyeshadow palettes in the break room at work for people to take and use.. I'll have to clear that with HR first.. Yeah-as little as I actually wear eye makeup on a daily basis, one may say I'm a lil cuckoo for cocoa puffs for buying so much 😅 I think that's a great idea!! Letting people at work use the palettes ... you could always sell some of them on Mercari or Poshmark or something! Get some of that $$ back! Lol I'm also not buying anything right now...I had a moment of weakness when Clionadh dropped their new shadows and bought some weeks ago, but other than that, I'm not buying anything. Especially when Idk if I'll even be able to afford rent next month with being out of work with my health issues. Times are really tough right now. Lmao-cheap makeup typically does smell... cheap. Bh cosmetics is the indie brand that started my love/obsession/passion for collecting eyeshadow palettes! Every month I would make my purchase and get the monthly zodiac palette and lots of other goodies, lol. I definitely have emotional attachment to my palettes and it is hard to let go. Proud of you for being honest about your collection! ❤🎉
BH cosmetics definitely had my heart, too. I didn't really care for the Zodiac line, but there are many other good ones- their sweet shoppe collection comes to mind. I wish they'd make a come back!
Your love for ColourPop reminds me of my love for bh cosmetics. I do love the CP X Kathleen Lights collabs (I have them all), the "Sweet Talk" and the "Boudoir Noir" are some of my favorites! Old school CP and BH cosmetics before they were bought by Makeup Revolution. ❤
Cold sores showing up during times of stress or after the body goes through a physical turmoil (sickness/injury) is SUPER common, per a couple of Drs that I know. Don't feel bad, most of the world is infected, even if they don't get breakouts they're likely to still be a carrier. I'm so sry you're going through it. I hope whatever it is settles sooner rather than later. Thanks for a great declutter video!
I have to give you tons of credit for making this video (which I thoroughly enjoyed, btw). I’ve been wanting to make one with my collection but I just set to creating an inventory and realized I have over 800 palettes and I’m only up to “p” in alphabetical order by brand which is how I stored my palettes. 😱🤣

Thank you so much! So, for that 3rd look I used the darker bluish gray matte from the Melt Muerte palette and a tapped a very little bit of the red matte on the inner portion of my lid- and I used Terra Moon's Solar Expansion on the outer half of my lid and either Ray by Clionadh or Zira by Devinah on the inner half...I can't remember which... but either would produce similar results. Thank you for the kind words! I love playing with my palettes in conjunction with my special shadows. I would love to film more looks like that.

This is the longest RU-vid video I've ever watched, and it was fun! It's always fun to see what others have in their collection. We have a lot of the same "older" palettes. (That Too Faced Chocolate Gold is still a favorite of mine, as well as Jaclyn Hill vol. 2.) I would love to see you revisit old palettes. I'm also trying not to buy as much and use what I have. I have 140 palettes, and after awhile you have most of the shades that are coming out. However, I won't hesitate to buy another palette if it has a unique color story! I know this video took a lot of time and effort, and it's appreciated. Great video!

I would keep that Milani palette bc it was before they changed their formula and the old formula was the best in my opinion. ☺️ (I have that palette btw lol)

I kept from Milani, the one u showed, the shimmer version of that one and one more palette from them, all with their old formula. So from one palette addict to another... Idk if you've tried Looxi Beauty singles. They have gorgeous shimmers, & sparkly auroras for $3 ea. It's one place you can get a shifting duo/multi chrome do cheap. They had a gold lime green one. I'd have to look to.see if it's still avail. Their mattes are ok, but their shimmers are fabulous. Customer Svc is fantastic too!
I actually have quite a few Looxi shadows. I've bought from them 3 or 4 times. Some of them are nice. I've found that their formula is a little inconsistent, though, and they don't age very well. I definitely think their newer shadows are better than their older ones, though. I'm hooked on the super shifty/sparkly shadows- once you try Terra Moon's or Clionadh, it really makes it hard for other brands to compare, IMHO.
The first shifty shade on my lid is a single called Take Over from Shine By SD- it's an indie brand. I put it over top of mattes from Natasha Denona's Circo Loco and Pastel palettes. Thank you so much 🥰💜

I actually use the brushes lol mostly because I'm usually in a hurry and just grabbing whatever I see! The only one that really sucks to me is the urban decay naked 2 brush. It's so pointy

Makeup Geek had GORGEOUS duochromes. They discontinued them & never brought them back. They missed the opportunity to go into multichromes too. I own every shade they ever made. I hated to hear of their closing. The Ace Beaute paradise palettes have to be used dark shadow to light. Because the old formula doesn't like to build. When you apply shadows light to dark. You just have to change your technique to apply the darkest shadow 1st.
I have a handful of MUG shadows-I think I have a couple of their duochromes. I agree- they def could've capitalized on the multichrome craze! Very sad to see them go 😒
@@MakeupwithMichelle You ought to try Looxi Beauty shadows. Their shimmer formula is a foiled metallic. While their auroras are more sparkly. They're on sale for $2.50 ea. A lot of them are duo & multichrome too. The customer svc is phenomenal. I can't say them same for Sugar Drizzle. They left me hanging for $100+. I haven't gotten the courage up to film my looks. I've been told I should. My palettes collection is ridiculously large. I plan on recreating your red eye look soon! Have a blessed day ❤️
I'm sorry if you mention it in the video, have just started watching it, but I have to ask...: What is that gorgeous Duo-/multi-chrome eyeshadow you have on you eyes?! (I mean when you went through the first drawer😅) And What shimmer did you use on the third look?? I've been looking so long for a perfect red shimmer, like not dark pink or orangey, but a true red Sparkly shimmer, but can't seem to find it anywhere BTW the only shade I like that is matte with sparkle/glitter in it, are the ones from Jeffree Star's Blood Lust palette🙈
The last look I used an iridescent red shimmer. I can't remember if I put it over top of anything or not, though. Clionadh has one called Ray, I believe...I think Terra Moons and Devinah also have an iridescent red that are pretty similar.
Yes, I saw it 🥺 I'm not currently buying any makeup though because I'm out of work right now. I def have been eyeballing it though! It's so pretty. I agree though- looks like a mash-up of Retro and Glam.

It's a magnetic pickup tool from Amazon. They're actually made to get into hard to reach places to pick up screws, bolts, other magnetic pcs that may be hard to get to. It's actually called a "magnetic telescoping pickup tool". Hope that helps!

Michelle. Tell your doc you get cold sores when you are stressed and have him give you about 6 pills of acyclovir if that is something you can take. I get damn cold sores and one pill gets rid of it in maybe a day or two.
@@MakeupwithMichelle yeah six pills lasted me over two years because I get maybe one or two a year…three if I’m having a bad year. I get them when I’m stressed or when I’m sick and my doc said it’s because your body keeps them at bay until it has to focus on something else. Makes sense to me.
