Can confirm that lfg is a nightmare for this raid lol, but I also wonder if Bungie ever has a watch party for the worlds first race. It must be so entertaining watching people trying to figure out the mechanics you developed

Glad you guys wrote this cause I watched like 4 videos, this one actually seems to break it down best, but putting it this way does make it make more sense. So I’m give the 2 others my symbol, and creating the 3d shade that excludes the one I have?

@Jreaddy when you are giving away your two symbols- your two other teammates should be giving you their 2D symbols. That will create your 3D shape, which excludes the 2D shape above your statue. Does that make sense?

The 3D Shapes are the front views plus the top views. (square front view + circle top view = Cylinder)

There are two faces in the solo room first phase you want all your shapes that your guardian is holding in your room. You know what symbols are in your room by the symbols that are changing on the big white wall at the front of the room so if your guardian is holding circle, you want the back room to show two circles as in it changes from circle circle Now as you saw, he got lucky since he started off with two circles but usually if you’re missing a circle for example and you have circle square one of the other two guardians, there are also in their own solo room will have your circle in the room, so what you don’t need to do is communicate and see grab that circle and give it to your statue guardian, so the circle is now in your room. That’s how you move the symbols From room to room.

I understand this, there’s one question I have I think, so in video you have double circle already and your saying if your teammates doesn’t have double symbols they pick up the wrong symbol and send them over, so my question is, if they pick up the wrong symbol where do they send it over to? There’s 2 guardian statues, does it matter which guardian statue they give the wrong symbols to?

I think remembering the guardians look is just too much. They should change it to where each statue will depend on the class of each character and give each class and ghost a default look. It’s too much to remember

So when assigning players to their ghost, I think at the beginning of the raid, forget about people's gamertags and call each other by the ghost shells name. Yes, in the beginning, it may be confusing, but if you start with seeing the players name "smokefaceXX77" then remember his got Savathun shell then start call players by their shell name

So funny... did it for the first time last night, watched a video before we started the encounter and did exactly what you just discribed for the solo room over and over and over... constantly wiping. So I explained what I did and they say "okay lets swap you out. You need to be rly confident for the solo room" I was pissed, still am, because I did everything fucking right! When I was doubled up, I gave my symbole to them. When I am not doubled up from the start, I gave the wrong symboles first (square to square guardian etc) until I am doubled up since those teammates must be doing the same. THEN I gave my symbols to them... Like what the fuck man. This encounter needs you to be not a dropout fuck up that can't even get a simple task done and that understands what your teammate is telling you.

I have an issue where me and the guardians around me are transparent, their frame just would not load, neither would their ghosts or, worst of it all, their statue. When i got to this encounter it was pretty much impossible for me to help in any way

When this happens you need to restart your game It's due to a desync issue where the instance isn't loading properly

If a solo player can't get through the wall, one of two things haven't happened. The solver hasn't correctly solved the puzzle. Or The solo player doesn't have the completed shape from picking up the two shapes that differ from the one their statue is holding

This probably by far the worst mechanic puzzle raid bungie has made having your ghost and your character be part of mechanic knowing some people will end up with matching ghost or armour set is stupid and being force to switch ghost or armour just to make things easier is probably so stupid. Very hard raid props to bungie but mechanics wise this one rivals Garden shitty mechanics

How the fuck did TCS in the chat mean "Right guardian needs to be holding a cone". Like wtf. Excuse my language but this encounter is not making any damn sense to me. I've beaten all raids since D1, got godslayer, but this shit aint making sense. Edit: Oh shit i think i get it now. TCS means the other dimension saw Triangle Circle Square, meaning you dont want those shapes in those respective statues, therefore creating the 3D shapes (cone, cylinder, etc)
