@@thirtyacres7504 generally speaking, most (if not all) Keychron keyboards are mass produced, low quality boards catered to people entering the hobby. Not bashing the company, or anyone that buys their products, but I’m simply stating facts. I don’t necessarily blame anyone that’s purchased one.. but I do find it odd that people go to some extreme lengths, defending their (apparently) “great new custom keyboard”, or anything associated with Keychron boards, and don’t understand why/how people believe these boards are worth even a third of what they’re sold for. I understand if someone buys a ~$50 or so Keychron as their first, but for someone to buy any of them that are more than $100, is beyond me, and makes it evident that people simply don’t do their due diligence before buying their first custom, as the “budget”/entry-level keyboard market has become extremely over saturated in the past 12-18 months. For the $100 to $200 you’d spend on a Keychron, if you just do some basic research, you can find an abundance of alternatives, most/all of which are far better options than any Keychron. Companies like Qwertykeys/Neo have in stock options that are 5x a better bang for your buck, and are similarly, if not lower priced, than a majority of Keychrons. The only reason why Keychron manages to sell so many, despite all their products’ flaws, is because of the company’s access to resources that market their products in a way that is much more convenient, or easy to find, than alternatives (despite how terrible the quality of every Keychron board). Ironically, their very first board (the Q1 & Q1 V2), are definitely, their highest quality options. I can’t blame them for shifting their focus on where it is now - they get to spend a fraction of what spent manufacturing their first few releases, but have now ended up selling so many more boards, all of which have gradually decreased in quality from the original Q1. Smart on Keychron, taking advantage of consumer purchasing decisions. Shame on anyone that espouses that their Keychron board is “good” or even (remotely) above the lowest tier of custom keyboards

@@ShottFPS stabiliser. They're the things that help large keys maintain a smooth up-down motion (eg space bar, back space etc...) They're also probably the most time consuming part of a keyboard to tune

The board itself does not sound that good. Pretty hollow. She is doing promoting to Keychron that why Keychron is everywhere in her videos recently. The V-series and K-series pro from Keychron is good but not the Q-series IMO. Despite its professional look that every people in the office love, Keychron boards are not that good as its apperance. Its signature feature is "Hollow" build.

@@KatodeDevilus that's your opinion and I agree to disagree. There have been a couple of Q series boards that sounded hollow in the beginning but when the V2 versions came out they fixed it. It's the same with the pinging issues. It happened with Q1 and Q3, but it got fixed with the V2. There have been many reviews on this and you should do your research. She's also done reviews on different boards and has always given her honest opinions on it.

@@Goochigoop .. Funny or not, I wasn't kidding. It works! There are videos where people use white Elmer's glue not just for the space bar but for many if not all the other keys. I first tried it on a throw away space bar keycap. Basically sounds like an acrylic keycap when you're done with it.
