do you have proof of 8 psi of boost? my turboed cub smokes 2x as much and i clear up smoke at around 12ish psi, 8 psi is a crazy number for no load whatsoever. i understand your turning more rpm but still at the moment my cub can turn 4k+ and i hit 2 psi just revving it in neutral.
@@JackCecil lol i mean can you record it, i know plenty on these smaller cube turboed motors, also if i was you id turn up the timing, get a little more boost.
@@JackCecil in Alberta we just called it farm fuel. Could be dyed gas or dyed diesel. As long as it was cheaper! I grew up in a small town and filled up a few times at friends farms. Just don’t get caught. Lol.
I’m a farmer by trade, love a John Deere super excited to see where you go with this Jack! On a side note, they’re always handy when you own shitters that don’t run 😂
@@Blakethegoat I have big tractors and mini pull tractors and on our farm only tractors with cabs get flaps cuz the flap is like a 90* bend shooting smoke right in your face lol
I'm surprised (and saddened) there is no pulling or dirt drag racing in my area whatsoever. Never has been. Neither requires a ton of expensive infrastructure. We do have a decent drag strip after years of development and using old runways. Seems like pulling would be a motorsport that is more accessible due to it not costing a fortune (or doesn't have to). I was even giving some thought to building several garden travtor pullers and trying to attract interest at a fair of some sort.
Mr Jack.... ✌️😁👍 Good to see you. K-Truck is sounds like it's going to the Moon. Old friend of my mine has a Cub. Crazy gravely rotor till too They don't quite 👍
I’m so fascinated by these small turbo diesels. I’m wanting to build one of these engines and place it in a reverse trike like a Polaris Slingshot for traveling back and forth to work every day. Or maybe finding a small Isuzu truck or Ford Ranger to put a small turbo diesel in. How much horsepower can you get out of one of these small Yanmar and Kubota two and three cylinder engines? I saw that the new Polaris MRZR has a small turbodiesel that makes 118 hp.
longer tube with a flap would make that mint. the flapper opening backwards should divert some of the smoke out of your face to the side when you do a pull and create small exhaust back pressure for the turbo. should look at some quad wheels with street tyres for some top speed runs.
@@JackCecil Yes you can make the 1050 weight but you will have to stack some weight on it. We run the 1050-1150 class here.. Just make sure you are ready! Them boys running them big 50.5's and vtwins are no joke 😂
@@JackCecil. I just finished a vtwin for a local guy and its making almost triple digits and its not one of the bad boys. Also you will have a hard time trying to run a diesel in 1050 because most of those are kohler engine classes
@@JackCecil. I've said before I have an old cub with a gear jammer kohler sitting in the shop if you get mixed up in pulling I'll give you a good deal on it. Its a 3800ish rpm engine but its no jjoke, its won many many events but the kids don't mess with it anymore.
