Great video Sean! Gonna be honest not really blown away by strip. It seemed to be a lot of effort for not much reward but Ez SIO2 shampoo looks impressive. Definitely an advantage for people with no time to wash and get protection as the same time
Thanks for sharing. I have never tried EZ products and always thought about buying some to just give them ago but always been put off by the negative comments online. Great video 👍
The negative comments are correct. I've used the majority of their products, only a couple I was impressed with. The wheel cleaner concentrate viper and gecko what is now lotus. Rest was just coloured water.
Nice work. The Charger really does look utterly fabulous. I'm on the fence between a ceramic shampoo or something like Polar Seal. First world problems!
Cheers buddy. I honestly think value for money a product like polar seal will be best. But absolutely no reason why you couldn't use the polar seal then maintain with a product such as this shampoo 👌👌
Good man, I love it when someone has a go with EZ but, what are the haters going to hate now 😂😂. I was on the fence with the decon shampoo, not sure I'd grab that over the very well known ome. Another good video! All the best bud 👍.
Yeah the decon shampoo wasn't overly strong but did pull back the hydrophobics and was nice enough to use. Ive got about 4 decon type shampoos for comparison in a video soon. The EZ shampoo was sooooo good though! It's dear at £20 but when it's in the sale it will be a bargain. Very very well lubricated and the hydrophobics were excellent
@@triggerhappyautos is the EZ shampoo there for maintenance of a coated car, Sean? Is that it's purpose or is it for those who habe no protection and want to add some?
@@triggerhappyautos I used Megs Wash+ and was very impressed. It's a lovely product to use and I was amazed at how dead the water behaviour was. Problem is, I can't think of any other uses for it. Whereas GT decon has loads. Be good to see a video on the 4 you've chosen.
That strip was looks useless, cant remove a QD. If youre blown away by the EZ shampoo then try Gyeon Bathe+ Si02 shampoo. Thays like a sealant in itself and the water behavior is insane. I prefer using it through a lance.
I will certainly give that a shot mate. The strip wash wasn't brilliant but still a nice slick shampoo to use. As it was just a rough first test I plan to use it some more to really make judgement. I've got garage therapy decon and the autobrite decon also. I found the autobrite decon very similar to the M and K, not particularly strong however a nice user experience
@triggerhappyautos I've not had a strip shampoo remove an LSP however, I pair them with Meguires wash+ they aid the degradation and the megs knocks their socks off. I hear everyone say that these shampoos are well lubed but any shampoo is at 50-60ml. I've been through 3 litres of GT decon now, great shampoo. Also dipped my toe with a litre of AD decon too. I have IW Wax Off which I've used but in a hurry so not really taken much notice. Try megs wash + mate.
Im like @pigeonpoo1823 in that Im on the fence , but more over using one that has this ceramic content given the protection on my own car is so good water wont stay on the panels . EZ are a brand Ive found hit n miss products from but for me the constant sales put me and others off buying them over other brands .
Hey buddy thanks for watching. I agree, I love to always have wax and sealants on but I guess this is a great way to top them up over winter just by doing a pre wash and contact wash. I'm with you also on EZ products being hit or miss but I can honestly say this stuff is fantastic. Mind you £20 a bottle is a bit pricey 👌👌
got Mile Deep 9n mine and if its just a blast off at work I could use the cheap rubbish we use but it's keeping water on the panels as nowt wants to stay on it
