well yeah in such a way here in the Philippines if you're a child and be called "tisoy" you might take it offensive or discrimination but as we grow older and mature its kinda complimentary coz it.basically means you're light skinned color or half.mixed.. but for a young ez mil of corz it'll be taken as some kinda discrimination coz he was like feeling he doesn't fit in a crowd especially in his elementary school days here in Olongapo where in he find it hard to make friends and all ya know... shout out to him for making us all filipinos proud!

Here are somer of my thoughts :) He was born and raised in Olongapo and moved to the USA just about 4 YEARS AGO so talagang TUBONG PINOY siya. His mom is American and his dad is Paul Sapiera. The intro is already giving you a FILIPINO VIBE because the melody is actually from the folk dance "CARINOSA." I am very impressed how he integrates the folk dance music into his rapping. Now that is SOMETHING NEW, I mean something not commonly integrated something cultural mixed with contemporary rap. Also we have to let the non-Filipino viewers understand that Ez Mil is NOT in anger, he is just feeling the PASSION and PRIDE of being a Filipino If you also watch how KZ Tandingan sings and raps she is also VERY PASSIONATE and EXPRESSIVE, so same thing with Ez Mil. I beg to differ on the DISCRIMINATION PART of the song. It is more like TINUTUKSO or TEASING LANG hindi naman dinidiscrimate natin ang iba specially during mga bata pa tayo, TINUTUKSO LANG na kesyo tisoy ka or negra ka or pandak ka or unano ka, TUKSO LANG naman yan. The word "DISCRIMINATION" kasi medyo malalim ang hugot niyan. Sa Pinas mas rampant and common lang ang TINUTUKSO KA pero we never have problems with discrimination per se. In fact Filipinos grow up in a culture where we actually do not have a concept of discrimination. TUKSO yes, BULLY yes but discrimination it is a vague concept in Philippine culture. Kasi we embrace and welcome every color kaya nga feel na feel ng mga foreigners when they visit the country. One more thing, that part about Lapu-Lapu I think Ez Mil miss this part. If you read closely the lyrics it says "pinugutan SI Lapu-Lapu" siguro he meant Magellan. I would understand if nobody did a FACT check on his lyrics. OR pwede rin na "pinugutan NI Lapu-Lapu" si Magellan. I am trying to emphasize this part kasi MARAMING NALITO sa history natin bwahahahaha PERO CARRY LANG BRO! I SALUTE YOU EZ! bravo bravo bravo.
