@adamdarklord Adam did you figure out how to put the ez wireless footswitch into maintained mode so you only need to press it to turn it on and then press to turn off instead of having to hold it. One reviewer said they couldn't get it to work, also I'm wondering how long it takes the footswitch to power itself off someone has said it gets annoying because the pedal goes to sleep and you need to flick the on off switch to wake it up. Does this happen during breaks while working or does it only happen over night by the next day etc. I might order this machine today they have a great deal on right now. The info would be much appreciated ! @adamdarklord

I just bought it a week ago and I have already done some tattoos, and I tell you that it is one of the best machines I have had so far, it has a perfect force to make fillers, but at the same time it has enough smoothness and precision to make Fine lines, I highly recommend them.

@@alit.theghost5156 if the stroke adjustment screw gets damaged you can order new grub screws or contact EZ and they should be able to help you. Everything in the world can be damaged if you’re not careful and improperly use it…. So be careful

I’d recommend the turbo because it’s direct drive and stroke adjustable. Get the Turbo and save up for the Acus m1

Great review and PERFECT timing for me! I have been doing research for weeks on what adjustable stroke pen machine I should get to teach myself how to tattoo. I don’t want to purchase an expensive one, but I also don’t want to purchase a cheap one just to “learn” with and then have to purchase a better one later. But one good one now that I can learn with and use for years to come. I was set on the DragonHawk Fold 3, until seeing this. Now I’m torn between that one and this one. Do you recommended this one over the Fold 3?

@@adamdarklord Is that mainly because of the direct drive? Or because of overall motor? I really don’t know anything about either company to say one is better than the other. The small screen and buttons being on the side is something I was hoping to avoid since I seen you mention that in your top 5 review video as something you didn’t care for. Having a simple small screen and basic button functions on top does seem easier overall. This will my very first tattoo machine ever, and I trust your opinion on this difficult choice. I’d be willing to go with any other recommendation you may have as long as the price is within the same field as the current two in this discussion. Thanks for your time! @jlc2324 The WOS E60 that just came out might be a machine you would like. It’s similar to the Turbo machine but with the buttons on the top. I just get better customer service and trust with EZ tattoo supplies. A direct drive machine is the way to go trust me on that. I’ve had a few people tell me their Fold 3 machine broke in the first couple months

Hey @AdamDARKLORD! Absolutely love your content, super informative! I'm diving into tattooing and gearing up to buy the EZ P3 Pro Turbo. As a total newbie, I'm wondering what needles would be best to start with. Should I go for the 12 or 10, and between REVO and V SELECT, which one would you recommend for a beginner? Also, I stumbled upon these mixed packs on Amazon, which include (3RL 7RL 7RS 7M1 9RM). Do you think this mix pack size would be good for a beginner's starter kit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I order needles and most supplies here truetattoosupply.com Idk what Revo or V select is, I’m assuming they are brands 🤷‍♂️ 12 gauge is standard used for lining and color and 10 gauge would be for like black and gray shading. Get 3L, 7L, 9L 7CM, 13CM, 17CM 7RS, 11RS, 14RS All standard gauge Those are the needles I use for 90% of the tattoos I do. If I had to pick 3 needles probably 7L, 13CM, 11RS Mix packs are good to start to figure out what you like and always practice on practice skin for many hours before tattooing anyone and try and find a mentor to teach you in person

I appreciate all your videos! I’ve been debating on what machine I want to buy im deciding on either the Ez p3 pro turbo or the Fkirons exo. I know of the price difference but I’m more stuck on, is the exo that much better of a machine for the extra money even though you can’t fully take it apart to clean and just being US made. I like the idea of no extra parts with the fixed stroke but which would you choose and why? I also don’t know much about ez tattoo company so I’m worried about spending a decent amount when I should’ve just payed more

I got both machines and I like the turbo more. I have many FK machine and each one of them broke in less than a year. And I need to be able to clean the drive bar and access the inside of the machine so if something brakes I can see what it is. Both machines feel very similar to each other. If you go fk you’re going to want the 4.0 for everything, at least the Turbo you can adjust how it feels. What machine are you using right now?

I definitely have been learning towards the turbo with just being able to access everything and cleaning purposes but also like the good reviews and US made fkirons. I’ve been doing a lot of research but I’m not proud of my current machine it’s the $80 mast tour pen which i practiced a ton with but a buddy of mine has the exo and I had the chance to use multiple times but never wanted to spend the money. fkirons has a 4/20 deal on the exo and it been really make me think about which one will be better for me. I really only do linework and blackwork but started doing more American traditional but Im just stuck knowing both options of are good machines. Thank you again

Hi Adam. Appreciate the review. Today I tried this pen out and sadly it broke on 4th line (the metal stick inside didnt make it). Since I am a beginner, I was just wondering if there could be also mistake on my side? I was using three 1mm fake skins to be sure it doesnt go through (also by EZ) and only went 1mm deep. Do you think the skins are hard or something else? Thanks.

The turbo is direct drive and the P3Pro is swash plate drive. Direct drive is better at putting ink into the skin, has lower vibrations and sound and is more reliable and won’t brake as fast.

I’ve never used the DKLab machine but heres what I can say. “Dark Lab” is an actual big Tattoo supply company owned by FKirons. I know in the past DKLab was getting a lot of heat because they were making knock off FK irons machines. So in short I wouldn’t trust them. The Turbo machine is better because it’s direct drive and you can adjust the stroke. It also has a lot of power to it.

I don’t own the Fold pro so I couldn’t tell you exactly and unfortunately it doesn’t come with a rca adapter and I don’t believe the website had one either

U have to hold a button down to search for Bluetooth, battery’s last 6-7 hours, it can dot and pepper shade all day long, I just plug it into any outlet any usb block and just charge it through the type c port

The solnova is crazy good, unfortunately mine broke. I’m excited for the new Sol Nova Unlimited 2 coming out! The EZ turbo is a good machine to get before the Cheyenne machines just because it’s cheap but has a quality feel and works very very good.

The original P3 Pro stroke adjustable machine is softer on the skin because it has a swash plate system rather than a direct drive system. The original P3 Pro is nice I still prefer the Turbo over it. The turbo can do everything at 4.0 stroke no need to adjust it but it’s nice that you still have that option if you need it

Fk irons has the modular line where you can swap out grips, motor body’s, and battery’s so that’s nice, It’s just expensive to do. The exo was cool to use at 3.2 stroke but I couldn’t do everything with it so I always had to set up a second machine. Turbo can do everything one machine no extra parts.

@@IvanEstevez If you’re a full time tattoo artist and you got some extra money then yes go for the Acus. The Acus has modes in it that allows you the change the torque in your tattoo machine. So you can make the machine hit softer or harder with a few taps of a button. This turbo machine is the best bang for your buck if you don’t want to spend over $1k

lol oh boy… don’t do what I do sometimes 😅 is the machine broken? Did you accidentally bend the drive bar now it doesn’t line up with that cartridge hole? Ez can probably send you a new one if you take a very short video of it and send them the video on instagram

This stroke system is not New from EZ tattoo , actually it was first available and it still is from WOS Tattoo machines , is not a secret that EZ machines just copy everything that comes out in the Market

I’m aware of the WOS machines I’m currently testing the E50 for review. Adjustable cams like this have been around for many years I actually have a full box of just adjustable cams for when I build my own machine for fun. Only recently they have been coming out in pen style machines. Thanks for watching the video

Adjustable direct drive cams have been around for a long time. They’re just generally not on pen styles because disassembly isn’t convenient.

NOT THE BEST. . i just bought this today and tried tattooing with 4.5mm and 5mm stroke with 6.8 volts to 8 volts and it gets hot easily within less than an hour. . i think the rod is too short that's why its heating up so fast. . im worried that the tube will come off because its just glued down. the wheel cam and the rod/ball tip will get so hot within half an hour so you might have to cool it down everytime. . .

You need to use carts rated for 4.5-5mm. I’d have to see what you’re talking about because I’m confused, I haven’t noticed any heating up issues. I’ll run my machine now for a few mins and touch the cam and see if it heats up and I’ll get back to you

I just ran it for 30min at 4.5 stroke length and the only thing warm is the battery. I’m touching the cam and drive bar right now and I feel no heat coming from it. Maybe message EZ on instagram and send them a video or explain your issue and I’m sure they would send you a new machine or cam
