I'm gunna be real hesitant buying any new fk irons products I swear they do almost no testing or not enough. Needle hang issues on flux, bluetooth issues on powerbolt 2s , awful idea to make the footswitch tap sensitive. They just don't think things through enough imo. Example. Oh we designed an extra plastic collar after the fact to put on your machine so it doesn't roll off the desk. Oh you didn't think an anti roll design would have been one of the first things to include. Alot of their choices make no sense. The tap sensitive pedal makes so many accidental starts anytime something bumps it. Don't you think having a machine that doesn't accidently turn on should have been higher priority then oooh look no physical button! Lol they need to hire better testers. Like does no one on that pro team give them proper feedback? No one told them no one's gunna make any use of e give with the way they have it working drastically slowing the machine down just making it run more inconsistent. Cheyenne and acus have much better implementations of some sort of electronic motor control that actually makes sense.
Hi! Thanks for your video. I just need you to tell me which machine is best for me. It will be my first machine, I have no experience in tattoos, and I only want to dedicate myself to *linear* tattoos. Which of these three machines suits me? - Mast Archer S - Fold 2 Pro - Fold 3 Thank you too much!
Check out the EZ Turbo machine I have a video of it on my channel and a discount code for it in the video. That’s the machine I’d recommend for beginners. This Mast Archer S is good too
I call cap sir. I used coil for 20yrs. I use wireless pens now however. I used the same power supply with my original tattoo pens. Same power supply yet the pens always hit softer. So this idea that it’s not the pen it’s the power supply is well cap! The added spring to the cartridge is a dampener. So coil with standard needles are so different from pens with carts thats why og’s have trouble adjusting in most cases
@@adamdarklord obv but it aint solely why us og’s have trouble making the switch broski. You can run same amp on both and coil with shaft needle will hit harder
@@adamdarklord is that millenial disrespect😂 you said” the reason og tattoers have trouble switching is not that pens are softer its the power supply. Guy
@@adamdarklord ok. So you can’t really make it sterile because plunger is “terrifically” always dirty, and you can’t clean it without taking off battery and it’s impossible to take it off without touching battery…. I hope you know what I mean. I’m tattoo artist for about 20 years now and I can see that it’s impossible in most pen style tattoo machines this days it doesn’t matter it’s cheap or expensive ✌🏻
Hello, I'm a tattooist from Korea who is watching your videos well. Excuse me, but may I ask you a few questions? I would really appreciate it if you could answer these questions. I was going to buy an EZ p3 Pro Turbo, but would it be worth paying a lot more to buy this machine? And I work on all genres, which do you recommend, 3.6 or 4.2? The questions can be difficult because I use a translator. Sorry
I like the Neuma 5 Flex more than the Turbo, and I’d recommend getting the 4.2 cams in the Neuma. The Turbo is still the best bang for your buck machine compared to anything else but the Neuma is a engineering masterpiece
@@adamdarklord Thank you! Lastly, this machine is a little difficult because it's too different from the existing machine. So even if I buy 4.2, if I buy 3.6 cams separately, will I get Stroke 3.6?
@@Woon_tat yes, if you order the machine in 4.2 stroke you will receive all the 4.2 stroke cams and if you would like you can also order the 3.6 cams separately. I got the machine in 4.2 stroke and I ended up buying all the 3.6 cams separately so I could try them all

@@adamdarklord But if I want to clean the rod? What pushes the cartridge? Because I imagine that if you put grease on it, it will get into the engine, right?
@@thunderjota Critical says only to use membrane needles and to try very hard not to get anything inside the machine. I believe you can put an extremely small dot of machine lube on the tip of the drive bar every 100-200 hours but I dont think it’s recommended. Many companies are starting to make machines that you can access the drive bar to clean it now but this machine is not one of them. I know…..
Im planning on getting 2 ez pros one ill have set at 3mm and the other set at 4.5. My other pen machines are set for 3.5. Or would it be better to get the peak astra
@adamdarklord thank you fpr answering me I live in wisconsin too and your reviews are amazing and give good insites. I also watch tattooing 101 to help me. I know quite a few artists around the state. We have alot of talented artists around this state for sure.
Hi Adam! i am a beginner looking for a stroke adjustable machine here in Argentina and i only have a few options to choose from, would you recommend this machine or the Dragonhawk Fold Pro with two batteries? Thank you very much for the in detail review videos :)
It’s hard to explain… the machine has a perfectly balanced cam and that’s why it feels so soft. Machines that feel like they have more punch to them is because the cam isn’t perfectly balanced so you can feel the error in it. Acus told me they currently don’t want to make a cam with an error in its balance. Overall the M1 has more power than almost any pen machine. It’s very strong it just has a perfectly balanced cam so it’s hard to get used to. I thought it was soft when I got it but I got used to it and now it feels like it puts ink in crazy fast. Hope it starts working better for you because it’s a very amazing machine
@@adamdarklord @M2 with 4.1 cam on 90hz I was getting patchy color packing. I switched over to my Bishop packer and everything came out smooth. I just recently inform to pack on -2 so if that works then I might sale my Bishops.
I got the CNC printer and though I can't figure the settings in the photo editor app for the best results. As for the printer it comes with a app and once installed connects automatically and is ready to print ...
Damn i bought this machine when it first came out n i just looked in the box n i didn't get the lil bag with the plate n allen keys🤔i hope if i email them that they will send me that...
I’m just starting out and I have the dragon hawk beginners it’s a white one and it starts at 6 and goes to 12 I think and it keeps on going to the highest when I’m practicing it won’t stay at 6 keeps jumping up and idk how to keep it at the same spot! Any ideas?
Hi man. One question. For you is it better then Critical? Thinking to order one for my Sol nova. Critical is ok for now butt i see people have some problem with Critical (not me for now). Cheyenne battery was not for me. So is it better then Critical? Regards.
Have you seen or heard of Dklab? Specifically their Mizar model with adjustable stroke? I'd love to see a review on that (in english). I was on the fence between that and the Z1, but I decided on the Mizar and here's why: 1- It has a wider stroke range (2.7 to 4.5 compared to 2.5 to 4. I won't use less than 3, but I will use 4.2 or 4.5) 2- lighter, and more comfortable shape (33mm x 131mm standard cylinder pen shape) 3- easier to wrap and still access all adjustments. 4- Battery, although shorter life (4-6hours) has a more detailed readout, showing htz, and battery level by color. 5- fits aftermarket batteries better. 6- unique drive bar/mechanism (moves perfectly straight and smooth as butter). Also, not that it mattered as much, but the Mizar was about $40 cheaper. Check it out if you get a chance.
