An easy to make tool for clearancing blocks for stroker cranks. The tool keeps the rod centered in the bore and takes the place of the piston The block is a mopar 340 and the crank is 4" stroke. Time saver. Similar tools can be made for any application, Chevy, Ford, Buick, Pontiac Oldsmobile, Amc.. This 340 stroker will be going into my 1967 Dodge D100 stepside pickup.

Do you check to see how much clearance you have. It’s a good idea to have twice the thickness of the bearing shell.

Yes, but I did it before I started the channel. I have a ProBal that is updated with Turner Technologies electronics. A lightning strike took out the original computer.
