Bright Room's amazing; I'm not a fan of the toms, but it has lovely kicks, snares (I'm a big fan of the Bell Brass snares you point out and use them all the time!) and cymbals. :D The room also sounds great.
For sure. If you get the Tom’s at the right volume I find they sit really nice in a mix. The snares are definitely the highlight though. It certainly is amazing!! Thanks for watching 😁😁😁
It's fascinating to me how guitarists develop different styles. It seems so easy and effortless what you do and yet it sounds so great. I love those evil harmonies - I would never come up with such great riffs. Top notch rhythm guitar! 🤘 Also it still sort of freaks me out how you manage to get such a blasting and well balanced mix with so seemingly little tweaks. I always mix each drum part (snare, bd, shells, etc...) individually and don't get results half as good as you do. But I noticed it seems you spend a bit time in creating your own presets in EZDrummer and AmpSims, maybe I should try that as well - I always use existing ones.
I feel the same about your stuff man. I could never write the way that you do. I too find it fascinating how easily some people come up with certain things. I see some styles and I'd love to be able to play like that but then I realize that we all have our own strengths, and it is those differences that make music so interesting. It took me a long time to get my mixes like that man. I used to multi out all the drums and mix them myself until I realized that most of those kits and presets are done by pros that are way beyond my level. Yes, I tweak them a little and maybe change a bit of stuff but generally speaking, most of the mixing is done for me when it comes to drums. Even when it comes to guitar, I wouldn't even call them my presets. Usually, I will use the ones that come with the program and then tweak them to suit my mixes and then I will save that as my own. Rarely though do I come up with them from scratch. Don't ever think that you don't come up with great riffs man. I've heard your stuff and I think it's fantastic. It's easy to look at someone else's style and wish we could do it, but you have to realize that that person is also wishing they could do yours.

Cant really give any advice without knowing the style and context you are using it in. The Pop Punk expansion is easily one of the best ones that Toontrack has released. I love it. Was going to do a revisit video on it soon. Im going back and revisiting all my favoutie ones at the moment. Here is my original one if you are interested. I need a vst that has the best sound to play metal and add my own custom samples inside it but I want to spend the least amount of money possible because I am also going to buy guitar hellrazer r vst, I need a brutal sound like argent metal, death core, metal core. and can you make a video about how to get the best sound with thin VSTs?!!!
Most drum VSTs these days are very expensive to buy. But there is a lot of great free programs out there to get you started in music production.
