@@ajordan1976FYI, he was disbarred in 2020. I know we all loved seeing Jodi get wrecked by him but he did some f’d up sh!t. He leaked the identity of the one juror who didn’t think Jodi should get the DP to a blogger that he was sleeping with during the arias trial. There’s also decades of sexual harassment against law clerks. He agreed to the disbarment to end the ethics case against him which was scheduled for to go to court in Nov2020.

You can see her “over-controlled hostility” here. She’s pissed but trying not to show it. You can see it in her eyes, though. She can’t manipulate the prosecutor like she has every other man in her life. She reminds me of Jodi Arias, another manipulative, narcissistic, rageful and self centred psycho. She blames everyone else for her own actions and can’t answer a question without equivocating because she’s a habitual liar. I’d love to see her get the Juan Martinez treatment, but this prosecutor didn’t have to work too hard to expose the ridiculousness of the nonsense story she was peddling.

She’s manipulative and as thick as mince imo, talks the talk but no actual follow through with it. The type of person who applies for a job, comes across as nice and will be an asset to a company but then becomes one of those employees that does nothing work wise but goes on about their rights and threatens to sue because they are being bullied . It is very good the way that every time she tries to reframe the prosecutor's question to shift the meaning or wriggle out of guilt, he simply restates the question exactly the same way, and keeps doing this until she will admit defeat and say "correct". His closing was just devastating to her case. Especially when he contrasted her version of the "attack" on her and her "self defense" with the pure facts of where blood was and where the cuts in Alex's clothing were. It made it so so clear that her version was a stream of lies. The case, her personality, motives and actions are so similar to Jodi Arias'. Except Jodi tried to get around how ridiculous her "self defense" claim was when compared with the crime scene and the huge number of stab wounds and bullet in the brain, by saying "I can't remember anything, unless it makes me look innocent." She was also much more aggressive in arguing on the stand. Even their texts messages are similar, the emphasis on sex and getting people to talk about tying her up, then trying to say how they were horrible perverts and she's a timid little inexperienced thing...despite all the graphic sex in the texts. The manipulating of young men with sex is...well, it's so easy. It is sad to see it happening, and infuriating - for all the women who refuse to do such things, so that real predatory men and rapists will have to stop using these sorts of excuses for their crimes. Infuriating for all the women who don't and refuse even the thought of manipulating men just because they don't feel like getting a job and supporting themselves.

I'll add something else. She was clearly coached by her attorneys. But the thing about being coached is this...when the prosecutor strays from the script, she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to not answer or stray away from the questions, but the prosecutor makes her answer. She is done.

@@Ocrilat Ah, I did not pick up on that. I'll have to watch her cross again, to try to pick out when the prosecutor askes her questions that aren't the obvious ones. I've certainly noticed the results of coaching in other trials. The use of phrases such as "the totality of events/materials/evidence". I have a sibling who is an attorney & she said once that the way to disagree with an attorney saying "you did this next", is to say "I don't agree with your characterization" . She said that in the 90s. Now I roar with laughter every time I hear the word "characterize" in these court videos. Which is nice! As it means I laugh a LOT.

So the problems she caused in her own life by cheating on her man, and having a relationship with Alex has nothing to do with her. All these issues she was suffering with had nothing to do with her choices. It was all Alex's fault. Well that's what she clearly liked to think. Alex did nothing wrong except love her. She hated him and f funnels all her rage at him when it was her fault and her choices that landed her where she was. Well I bet she misses her cushy life of sitting in a coffee shop all day and painting whatever nonsense filled her head. Bet she wishes now that the harsh reality of prison has hit her that she had appreciated life better while she had it.

yea tbh most of the guys (and girls) she hurt and messed with were not normal people. which is not to say they were bad, guilty people. just troubled and different. struggling with signs of arrested development, mild developmental disability, identity crisis, adjustment disorders, possible unresolved personal baggage and the like. these are legal adults and not officially disabled, but still a vulnerable population. we all know someone going through stuff like this. we all know adults who are brilliant in some ways and slow in others and have a big heart that's prone to being manipulated. most of these abnormal people are not abnormal in a sinister way, and if anything they are cherished for the love and uniqueness they bring to the world but are more at risk for getting conned and pulled into cults and the like. ezra was one of those abnormal people with a very sinister spin, and wreaked havoc

When she broke up with him she told him to stay away and he complied. I think that peeved her -- that he wasn't trying to pursue her. She's the one who sought him out. I've gotta be honest - I've watched big media trials, such as Jodi Arias....Juan Martinez absolutely annihilated her on cross....Dafour is disappointing in comparison. 95% of it is reading what she said back to her, followed by him getting her to confirm. *("Correct?"....."Correct")* while the other 5% was the defence objecting. That being said - I'm *SO* glad the jury seen through her and her lies. Here's my take on the whole situation. She struggled with life as a pre teen, her gender/identity issues. She wasn't seen to be anyones puppy love, so felt lost. She moves to Eau Claire and finds fellow "misfits" who try to find themselves, by being part of a close knit group. This opened up a world she'd never been privy to before. Fellas took an interest in her, so she had a field day and all you can eat buffet. She was conflicted. Wanted Jason but wanted Alex. John Hanson was just an in-between who showed her attention. What a warped, fcuked up human being. The only *true* Ezra Mccandless I witnessed, who showed *true* emotion all the way through the trial was when she, in fact was given life. Rest in Peace Alex Woodworth x

Weird how, out of the city and potential view of any cameras *that's* when she says Alex was driving. She'd wanted to be out in nature, she'd wanted to be at a park, she'd wanted to be out in public, but... "nah, let's just drive around to an area we don't know, and then I'll let him drive now that I'm feeling uncomfortable, and then let's go up a muddy roadway that *could* be a long driveway to someone's house, and, despite getting stuck in the mud, then managing to get *out* of the mud, it seems like a great idea to continue on down this way!" 23:58 - Her atty: I'm going to object to misstating the testimony, 'cause she said she really, they switched drivers and, um,... State Atty: She said she didn't know when. Judge: Yeah, it's not clear when and where they switched drivers, so you may continue this line of questioning... 25:00 State Atty: I seem to recall when you talked to Det. Prock that you told him that Mr. Sipple seemed familiar, do you recall that?... and you know now Mr. Sipple lives on ... and that happens to be the exact road you turned off of when you turned off of county highway E, correct? Ezra - Yes, that's the road that *ALEX* turned off of... She was driving most of the time, at least. And, SHE was the one maneuvering the car out of being stuck in the mud - twice - so, the only time that Alex would've been driving was to turn down this muddy road for a couple of minutes, and then immediately switching back to allow this poor, helpless, anxious lil' waif of a thing to try and get her car unstuck. Oh, and he didn't help at all, either. She did it all herself!! He just stood there, silently!!

23:59 I haven’t watched all the witnesses yet but was her car steering wheel, gear shift, indicators etc tested for Alex’s fingerprints? I’m curious if there was any proof that they switched driving. But I guess once the car got stuck it’s possible he jumped in to help try and get it moving again.. then again, he had a mobile phone. Who would be stuck like that and not call for help? By her final story, it’s like they tried, failed, and just sat around like idiots til he started making moves on her randomly. Yeah right. More plausible that the car got stuck, she legitimately tried to accelerate and get unstuck (hence getting further into the mud), and when Alex got out of the car to figure out a solution, she attacked him.. hence most of the blood being outside the car, and him not calling for help (cos he was just about to try DIY first and didn’t get a chance). It’s amazing how you end up questioning every single thing she says. The compulsive lying is unbelievable.

I'm not saying the world isn't full of bad women--the world is full of bad people in general--but a lot of stuff gets funneled out by the courts, even when it's critically important. @kimmiegirl810 According to Ezra, Alex's reaction to her car being stuck in the mud went from Alex standing by silently, doing nothing but quietly staring into the void for a while, as she tried every which way to get her car unstuck, by herself. He said nothing, he did nothing. Then Alex gave her a hug, trying to comfort her, Then he randomly decided to S.A. her. she felt something "pinch her" while he cut her clothes and she "batted the knife out of his hand" and she took the knife (even though she couldn't see) and just started wildly stabbing him, 15 times. Then he asked her to help him pee, (I guess because he was dying, weak, and disoriented he didn't want to get urine on his blood drenched clothes) The he grabbed her and held her in a hug, so she reached around and stabbed him in the back, the 16th stab wound. Then he took his coat off, played down on it, and said "I deserve this. I was waiting for this." And she left.
