2020 f250 crew cab can confirm it works. Super easy you can do it with your finger.

Thanks for the video! I can confirm this also works on the extended cab trucks as well. I did this on my 2021 F350 work truck. Note: there is a much smaller gap between the back of the seat and the cab on the extended cabs so you will be working pretty much blind.

This is useless for the 2016 SuperCAB. The seat doesn’t move whatsoever when you raise the seat, like it does with the SuperCrew. It’s ALOT easier to find that bolt to pull, when you can actually SEE It. I’ve tried everything short of ripping the damn seat out! No clue what Ford was thinking on this. It’s not a lot of space, but enough to make it worthwhile. Thank you, none the same for your effort.

that's for 2017+ only i guess. on my 2015 f250 crew cab there is a latch on the side of the backrest but it only goes down like 45 degrees

Maybe for Crew Cab but not for Extended (Super) Cab.

My seat won't even open up enough to get a wrench in there or a hand
