What’s more impressive, is in the village I lived in, the planes HAD to fly 10 feet from the ground and land within 50 feet (of the beginning of the runway from the 10 foot point).. so us kids would go and stand on the dock and get under the planes.. it was awesome

I worked transient alert at Aviano AB in the early 80s and the F-104s would fly by my truck 30 feet away even with my window on my truck! We would park 30 to 40 fighters on a Friday night. 5 Crew Chiefs F-15 we're brand new F-16 from Hahn AB and TJ we're block 15s A and B models. And worked Victor Alert.

So it doesn't strike anyone the wrong way that before 2000 are pilots were the best in the world and as the equipment has gotten extremely better then what are pilots flew from the 40s to the 90s and as we have taught are best skills using are best talent through those years to countries all over the world during a time that are pilots decided what their limits were and how far they would push their equipment to see the true full capabilities of the equipment that they are rising their own lives in. That top gun stuff was a reality for are pilots to achieve max talent and this was at a time that the technology was not even in the same level, class or league. So now we took are best to we have had over a 50 to 60 year period. Then we built the best equipment joined with other countries and for the last 20 years we have put limits on are pilots while we fund these other countries with the best technology. All while they don't put limits on their pilots to fly the equipment we pay for and the technology we give them to have those pilots take that equipment to that pilots highest capability. Can no one else see the real problem here. It is the same thing that has happen to are countries education system we were number 1 in everyway the world leader in education. We put money in to education and held educators responsible for what they taught are kids and if the teachers were successful in teaching their classes and they passed they passed with high successful grades the teachers kept their jobs because they were doing their jobs. Yet as the technology has gotten better the last 20 years we aren't even in the top 10 . Are kids are failing at record highs and just graduating which they will now pass kids through grades they fail these teachers keep their jobs. We have lost programs that helped are kids be successful they remove classes like shop and have drag book reading hour in many states and teach kids gender isn't a thing this has all happen sense the end of the Clinton era through Bush and Obama and its worse then ever under Biden. The choices that have been made sense are country became the number 1 world power until 2000 was were we went from having a surplus, taught morals and the factual meaning between between eight and wrong. While encouraging people to be their best and to push everything to the limits so we know them and are willing to continue to strive to push further and harder to continue to grow smarter, stronger, tougher, the best you could be. Today everyones a victimhood. We were raised sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. Today people are taught words are violence and if your not playing the victimhood card is because your the bigot that is creating the victim. A trillion dollars of are equipment was left in a country and area that we were have been at war with sense the first Bush. So we can afford to leave that kind of equipment and money in a place like that but we can't afford to let are pilots fly balls to the wall if they choose to. We can't allow them to hone their skills and learn every limit of their equipment first hand if that's what they choose to do. To keep us at the top and remain the best in the world. They don't have a problem giving it to other countries to do but we can't we have limits sounds like hypocrisy at its worst. If it doesn't also sound like a agenda from above the pilots heads and probablyhas to do with the same people that control politics and politicians that but aren't politicians the politicians are just the puppets doing what they are told and it puts are troops at risk and limits the possibilities that are talent may truly be able to do.
