Shoulda brought em up here to Dobbins. I'm highly surprised they're not up here already. Hartsfield seems like an expensive parking spot when you have a free one a few miles away.
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I understand not parking them at Falcon Field, but Dobbins seems like the logical place. Oh well, I'll be seeing them Saturday regardless.
Dobbins is challenging with airspace as they have to fly around ATL. They need to reserve more fuel for the transit back so it shortens the demo. Hosting them at ATL is an additional cost for the show but allows them to put on the best possible performance for our guests at the show.
@@AirDotShow yeah you wouldn't think it would burn that much more fuel but I guess it does take the guess work out of timing and flying around Hartsfield. Thanks for the info! I'm just sad they're not landing and flying around me all day today and tomorrow and Saturday and Sunday lol.
