Have you tried using it? Cause I have and I did not like it. First of all I was not used to where the bomb was going to land... usually I determine bombs aiming with a plane's cockpit by aligning it to an enemy ship. With F82E, it was pretty difficult as my conventional experience did not apply. Second it does not have an airbreak. Having an air brake does matter as it allows you to maneuver a plane even in the high speed and you will most likely engage attack around altitudes of 2000m to 3500m. Below 2000m, unless you are using terrains as your advantages, you will be easily knocked out by ridiculously accurate AI AA. Hence, I personally like to use BTD, P47, Am1, AD2 and AD4.

i concur. i tried it and was surprised. 2 2k bombs are good enough for the bigger boats, the 6 .50cal are good enough for coastal boats. was surprised at how well the roll rate keeps this thing alive and in 1 piece.

@@theleontech1 it's easy enough to counter for a smart player. all it really has is speed and firepower, actually getting your guns on any target that's paying attention is next to impossible thanks to its maneuverability.

@@thefolder69 True, its a big plane, and if you're slow you're done. The roll is pretty awesome though. The repair cost is high though

@@thefolder69 it would not sport the insane stats that it does if the plane sucked. It s a noob magnet also. So many new players head you on for no reason. Keep in mind 60% of warthunder playerbase are peanuts and this plane smashes peanuts more so than others.

Thats a good question. Bet thecplanes hust counted as dead. Cause it makes no sense when a bomber likeva b-17 has the piolet dies and nobody else in tge plane replaces him.

You'll always have the left pilot view. Like in bombers, both pilots are capable of flying the aircraft and can fly with one of them unconscious.

I do. 6 M3 50 cals is enough firepower to kill anything already because it has the increased firerate, I would rather not have the decreased performance.

You can also take the bombs instead. Good for grinding. Usually not that good for winning, that depends on the map. If you get the better side on Operation Uranus it's worth starting by taking out two bridges before climbing just to ensure there would be enough ticket bleed to win or scare the opposite team into making a mistake. If your team is smart they focus on bombing the other two covering the other CAS that bombs the one closer to the enemy spawn and the rest would climb along with the bombers, usually they aren't though or they don't care about winning. That map is completely unbalanced and i love it. Good for ground pounding. They could also have some use for clearing the patrol boats on the Malta map faster but the guns should be probably enough unless someone gets there faster. I would take the gunpods for bomber hunting only but you can cripple pretty much any plane without them to the point they would most likely either crash, float being useless for the rest of the match or end up as an assist anyway. The ones that it wouldn't are either not useful anyway or meta to the point it barely matters and the angle of approach or long range shots would get it done, like in the BV238-s case-still the pods would be useful for those long range bursts. The extra ammo is good if there's a lot of soft targets on the map, esp. a lot of Light Pillboxes.
