Touch and go is just a nick-name for it. The evelution is called an FCLP(Field Carrier Landing Practice). It is just basically there way to practice landing on a Carrier while on the beach.
My Alma Mater back in 1965 as an AE on A4Es. Trained in VA-125 than assigned to VA-163. Looking back, I would not have traded that experience for anything. GO NAVY! (1965-1969)
Nice air lift. I liked everything about the base except for the psychiatrist section of the hospital which i were reminded from another comment but id rather go back there than here in Virginia
@Veronica Lopez: dang, i know right. Psychiatry in medical hospitals dont belong there.in fact im going to do another comment about that inather video thanks for inspiration
These pilots need to learn how to land softly instead of slamming them to the ground wearing out the tires and damaging the struts. No wonder there’s so many aircraft incidents in the military. Lol the military is such a joke.
When I get my pilots license to fly one of these one day, I can bet I can land it butter smooth everytime. You're supposed to flare your landing upon touchdown you fucking dumbass. Look on every other RU-vid video of planes landing and you see them flare right before touchdown as the main mounts touch the deck first then slowly bringing the nose gear down. These knuckleheads in these Hornets are slamming their main mounts too hard and bringing the nose gear down way too hard. I'd hate to be the airframer doing the landing gear work lmao MSP error code 904 hahaha
"Land softly" I'd really like to see you land softly on a deck that's moving sideways away from you pitching and yawing. They pretty have much dead stick it so they don't hit the back of the boat, it's pretty easy to understand. I guess some people are just dense.
