It is a marvel of engineering, preheating the alcohol so it burns more clean. It has better efficiency in high-altitude areas. I guess some accessories are available to protect its flame against the wind. Maybe some sturdy white nifty glass that fists the 3 rings. I definitely could use one of these on my camping trips to cook small meals or make coffee. Where to buy these if still produces?
this is the heat source for an F.B. Rogers silverplate coffee urn or hot water dispenser. I know because I have one and found this video on how to use it.
Thanks for the demonstration. I picked one up today at a thrift store for $5.00. I wasn't sure if it uses oil or alcohol. So long as you carry your fuel in a safe, leak proof container and you empty the stove before packing it; it would be excellent for backpacks and camping.
