This is my 7th time doing this total from the bottom, second time for this car. Reason I believe the bottom is better because of you being able to reinstall the engine with basically everything connected.
"Special" tool list
-Cherry picker
-Torx socket
-Fuel line disconnect tool
-Furniture dollies
-Hardcore ratchet strap
-Maybe spare wheels or your front wheels
-Possibly tall jack standsdrfdf
Safely jack and support the car. This is just a guide so don't blame me for anything you do.

3. Remove PCM and unplug harness from inside
4. Route the harness on top of the manifold.
5. Disconnect engine to frame grounds.
6. Remove AC line that leads to the compressor
7. Unbolt power steering reservoir and route it out of the way to drop
8. Disconnect LF and RF brake lines on the ABS block
9. Unbolt the steering shaft and disconnect
10. Remove fuel lines/vacuum fitting
11. Remove throttle cable/cruise
12. Unbolt the sway bar from the frame (leave connected to tie rod ends)
13. Disconnect speed sensors in the wheel well
14. Remove Driveshaft
15. Remove front part of torque arm
16. Remove exhaust/y-pipe or whatever you have.
17. (A4) Remove shift cable (M6) Disconnect slave cylinder/shifter
18. Unbolt Transmission crossmember (support if necessary)
19. Place furniture dolly(s) underneath the engine/trans
20. Lower jack stands and remove 6 engine K member bolts
21. Unbolt top 4 strut tower bolts/nuts
22. Choose how you want to lift the car (around intake holes or radiator support)
23. Slowly lift the car and watch for parts still conncected and parts that get caught such as the brake lines, power steering and possibly something you forgot to do.
24. If necessary support the car once its lifted enough to slide the engine out. Get the engine lift out of the way and pull the engine out.
Be careful and have fun.
I know I'm breathing hard I'm fat lol.
