This is still one of my favorite podcast interviews I've done to date. Thank you for inviting me and I hope to be invited back soon. Congratulations on your success.
Hello Mr. Parker you might not see my comment with it being 4 years later, but I would like to join the NYPD force how do I go by getting into the academy.
Idk how I feel about this interview. On one hand I know how drugs brought our communities down but to hear a cop not only talk about locking Dudes up but actually making sure they get the right quantity so that they’ll get more time, just makes me feel a certain way
Yea that's pretty fucked up police really think that because they took one drug dealer off the street that now the streets are safe and there is no more drugs on that block or that town like that matters cuz you put him away and guess what a younger guys going to come take over and be bigger
Chub rokk Ortiz that’s how it always work when they have a racketeering line set up they let the same guys they’re watching make money continue to sell more drugs until they finally pull the trigger and lock everyone up
@Spanish Ramon actually, a lot people are locked up for crimes they didn't commit because of crooked officers but I'm sure you know that since you sound like a informant.
If you expect him to incriminate himself for some of the dirt he might have done as cop, Then I expect all of the former hustlers, drug dealers, and killers who have been on that show to speak on the countless crimes they didn't get caught for while the statue of limitation has not expired. SMH.
And more lies hate how he was apart of every big thing in history how tf NY cop found caddi from 2pac. And notice how he protects all his informants body language of no they said never snitch street codes, like police going to out there main helpers/informants
No cops or industry guys dispute his stories. He WAS there during The Creation of the Hip Hop Police. The rapper he says at the end of interview is 50 Cent shooting and Jam Master Jay Shooting. The person who shot JMJ gave up that Preme /Murder Inc were directly involved in The 50 Shooting...which we all already knew! 🤔
How many times you gonna ask him what college he went to, he CLEARY said ST Johns like 5 times. Y’all gotta pay attention to even the smallest things. Not just about the BS
Flip got to realize that sometimes when the guest say they can't talk about something that they can't talk it for a reason and just respect it instead of pushing it. Great interview though keep it up.
@Eric Nelson My comment speaks for itself. If you a fan of flip and watch his show then I don't need to explain and even if not my comment said what I meant. Still a good interview though.
@Manny Fresh This is one of the reasons why they don't snitch being that they are the biggest gang in the United States because to loose the pension and benefits is just tragic for them.
@@wafi9462 Kev got connects with doing hood security for dudes in the industry like Capone from CNN and around clubs in NYC. Im sure Derrick Parker and Kev will not hit it off judging by their polar opposite histories.
I can't stress enough how much I appreciate this podcast. Please continue to bring us this content! Salute to Flip and G-Money! Keep up the legendary work!
"I remember Derrick. We were in the same gym class together. Then later we became great friends because I saved his life from 5 other guys trying to Rob him". Tk- Kirkland
I wish he would've spoke about the incident where he heard J -Lo's mother making a racist comment about Puffy after that "Club New York" shooting when she was at the police station.
@@MikeyMath No it's not!!! A lot of people don't know about that incident with J-Lo's no talent having@$$ and her prejudice brainwashed family, you clown!!!
Yall don't notice this dude saves everyone, knows everyone but at the end of the day all he did was make a binder full of rappers to line em up but at the same time wants to be cool with all rappers
reaper keeper bro what Jim wasn’t jealous of no fuckn 69 tf😭😭. You chattn Jim and 69 have two completely different fan bases and are in two different sections of hip hop. Jim wasn’t even as active as 69 was during that period
He got really nervous and fidgety when asked who really killed Biggie at 2.05 minutes. (not 'Poochie'). Greg Kading's story is to separate Compton police department, the mayor, and the shooter (corrupt cops working for DeathRow.) Criminal cops Reggie Wright Jr. and Sr. from Deathrow records. . Basically for what I researched, Deathrow and Reggie Wright Jr. and Sr. and Kading, and the Mayor at the time (Omar Bradley?) are almost one.... And Russel poole (a good one), got murdered in the lions den for exposing.
Coming from a x criminal who grew up in the south Bronx and bushwick late 80s early to mid 90s I can say that he was doing his job.our job is to do what we do and the cops do what they do and I believe G and Flip who aren’t really street/jail niggaz should have shown a bit more respect for his service as NYPD and of he was dirty it would’ve came out a long time ago.
Yea that pissed me off flip was so worried about catching him all your good but you're not as good as me who gives a fuck let's talk about Stack Bundles rest in peace queenzflip knows how to piss me off at times with his stupidity worried about the most dumbest shit instead of talkin how about some real shit even though I still love his podcast just sometimes he upset to me LOL flip you my guy
Good interview Flip. Salute to you and G-money. I’ve watched a few interviews by you brothers already and I must say. You brothers don’t play. Yaw don’t let nothing get pass yaw. Keep up the good work!
It’s pretty obvious who the rapper is that Derrick Parker is talking about at the end and it is NOT Troy Ave like some have mentioned because like Parker said it’s about a big rapper which Troy is not and he said no one lost their life in this case and Troys best friend/bodyguard was killed in the Irving Plaza shooting. It’s not Puffy cause the unsolved cases Puff’s attached to is Biggie & Pacs murders and again he said no one lost their life in this case. So that leaves 50 Cent himself who was often on the radar of the NYPD but only involved in one case which was when he got shot 9 times and indeed a cold case as Parker mentions. And when Flip asked him who told him this information will be coming out in the media Parker answered the producer of the show he’s working on. That show is a homicide series Parker’s called Hip Hop Cop which 50 Cent is executive producing (hence the producer that told him) starring T.I. that 50 & T.I. just announced on IG which is about NYPD’s Hip Hop Police cases involving rappers in the late 90’s & 2000s and loosely based on Parker’s work with them.
I would love it if my kids could become city workers if they don’t end up goin to college ..salute to his parents for getting all there kids to get good jobs even thru the drug poverty n gang era
I definitely remembered as a kid when that shooting happened in the burgh between Guy and New edition. It happened at the Civic Arena that's now torn down. All my older peoples were talking about it at that time.

In Gang Culture on the West Coast, u cant do any kind of violation physically to someone and let them walk away, retaliation is a must. Now throw in the fact it was a rapper that violated him. He would get clowned and ir was on tape. Bad mix...😡
The dude he didnt want to mention that was talking to Puff and hung out in LA was Zip (from Harlem). Also Reggie Wright says to this day those LA cops doing the bank robberies(David Mach) were not tied to Suge.

@@M_Romano: Corrupt cops tied to Death Row and note: Death Row was also tied with Reggie Wright jr and Sr. It goes back to the mayor who also might got bribed and is a 'G' with gang ties. That is what the lawsuit was for, that Biggie's mother tried. And why the police don't want to solve it.
You can tell he was a square, which is fine but once he got that badge, he took advantage like all squares. Also, you can tell he lying. He knows no OGs. His friends were not the toughest kids. Why become a cop and specialize in basically your community. Please.
Tupac gets killed and a year later you go to the “Mike Seldon vs Mike Tyson fight “ I could of sworn that Bruce Seldon vs Mike Tyson was the night Tupac got killed not a year later
Santa Clause used his white privilege!...then on top of that, the police Sgt. takes him on a fishing trip!...they probably joked about the shooting over beers and catfish!...smh
