I feel so bad for Alma, she needed love like any child but she never got it and it turned her unstable which also in turn turned her powers and emotional feedback unstable. Her father and ATC created this monster and now they have to pay the price.
Just wanted to say during the pool scene, you missed an Alma moment. Before you jump in you have your back turned to the balcony doors and you'll hear the glass break, turn around, and there she is.
Yep she isnt trying to kill him, at first she seems to just be greatly interested in why he is conected to her psychically, she actually saves you twice during the operation at the start (the doctors said twice when you went critical you inexplicably stabilized without any help from the doctors, thereinby it had to be Almas intervention), and later on she gets an interest into the main charecter (she suddenly changes from emaciated into a healthy form, thats when she does)
I think Alma try's to help you, because if you see hear. Means that you're going the good way, and she is calm if you don't shoot or walk too close to her...
you know whats intresting, Alma is voiced by Alesia Glidewell, who portrayed the look of Chell in Portal and voiced Krystal in star fox assult and Smash bros brawl, she even voiced Zero suit Samaus and Knuckle Joe in Brawl as well.
when i was playing at the start i was like "Alma!, Y U SOO CREEPPY CHILD!" and then when she followed me as the hot teenager i was like "Alma! Y U STILL FOLLOW ME, BUT SEXIER" then i made it to the end of the game.... mind fucked
At the end she rapes you, yeah, but in the game, when she is trying to claw your face out, she seems to be killing you (if you don't press fast enough, you take damage). BTW, th e first expansion is here, FEAR: Reborn.
F.E.A.R. 2 was less on the suspenseful type of scary; the kind where you're constantly on the look out for something to jump out at you because it's constantly quiet and calm with unnerving background music like they did with the first few Resident Evil games It's much more on action where you're usually too busy running around and/or fighting, thus still making you jump when it does happen suddenly like in Resident Evil 4 and 5.
