F.E.A.R. runs super smoothly on the Steam Deck.
This classic 2005 horror FPS scared the f*ck out of me back in the day, and it still does at time in 2023.
If you can't find the game on Steam, you should be able to still find a Steam Key via G2A:

This was so scary back then. I loved how you could slow-mo lob a grenade/mine and shoot to detonate it in air. That never got old.

These steam deck gyro demos are always a fun watch. Thanks for uploading your control schemes as well. It made setting up PrimeDeck gyro much less of a headache. 👍

Same here I can't seem to get the slow mo button to work at all on steam deck. So frustrating!

Make sure the action is assigned to a button in the in game settings. I just bought the game and had the same issue; slo mo was not mapped to anything.@@sureslick1

Does it also support mixed inputs? i mapped every key to keyboard inputs to be able to use flick stick and gyro, and also the pad as a mouse. another question. How do you record gameplay when your playing on a undocked steamdeck. Is there a way to steam the game to your pc and then capture that pc monitor? And what camera are you using for the hand cam? i am trying to record my own gameplay and steamdeck configs for youtube.

it does, but if I remember correctly I had to enable analog/joystick input by altering a config file in the game’s directory or save directory.

@@zerocore_ I normally dont tinker with config files on the deck. For pc some games have mouse acceleration as the only option, but you can remove it by editing the input.ini file. That is the only thing i do sometimes. how do i edit files on the deck. Do i have do this on the desktop mode? then i also need to plug in a mouse and keyboard and a monitor.

@@caleasthetic you need to go into desktop mode, but you can use the trackpad as a mouse, so no need for a mouse or external monitor.
