These words have come back to haunt me. I just wish we had a podcast like this or group like this 30 years ago!! I would never have gotten married. But I'm going through this now at 56 years old. Don't know when last I had some couchie from my so called wife because she's not putting it out anymore. At least twice a week she's not in a mood to cook. She doesn't do any cleaning. I've now decided to get some side pieces and secretly build my finances for my security. Leaving the wife is inevitable, just a matter of time. IMO, there's no marriage anymore, we just like friends, even that is debatable. Life for me is really strained. It's been a very expensive lesson to learn but THANK GOD for this podcast. It opened my eyes!

I am from Africa, and we work on the farm all day, six days a week, from 7 am to 6 pm; when we get home, my dad takes a shower and goes to town to talk to other men while mum gets to the kitchen. Food must be ready by 9 p.m. when Dad is back home. I have never heard Mom complain, even though they both work in the hot sun all day.

Look, this is how you can tell reality, and who actually KNOWS what it takes For a relationship.... if they communicated like normal people he would know if she cooked or not.. if she didn't he could've picked something up period....if she didn't have what she needed to make a meal that's a different story. If she was too tired from taking care of kids and the home than that's ok.. as long as its not a pattern.... if she has no kids she has enough time. now if the man says he not paying bills or w.e cuz she don't cook once, than don't even bother getting in a relationship because it will happen 100% guaranteed. The only way to avoid a situation is to never place yourself in the situation. Don’t get married the likelihood it won’t work out is very high. And no your girl is not different.
