Jesse was surprisingly lucid in this conversation. Usually he’s trying too hard to troll or making ridiculous claims, makes it hard to take him seriously.
They are also thoroughly hated by those that idolize the thug life. You can't help but think how long will it take for the main stream Black community to figure it?
@anthony Lewis, you are a very stupid young black man. You probably hate yourself and don't know it. Both us these men attack black people relentlessly. Get some education and do some research and see what you think as you grow older and gain some wisdom.
My friend told me something his dad said and I thought it was pretty deep, he said not every black man is your friend, and not every white guy is your enemy.
I legit gave this a slow clap. Truer words have never been said. This is also reflected in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 3:20:' and again, "THE LORD KNOWS THE REASONINGS of the wise, THAT THEY ARE USELESS"'.
It’s mostly the white liberals who are keeping us divided. They enjoy keeping the blacks angry and hateful. The truth is, when blacks wake up and drop their anger, they’re the nicest people. So the left keeps making crap up so the blacks will stay down and out. Lift black conservative voices!!!!
@@mariaellis2882It’s true. I’m a white guy that was angry toward black people in my teens and early 20’s because I was bullied and harassed by black men all the time. Finally I had the realization it’s not fair to be angry at all black people because of bad interactions with a few. Harboring anger and contempt in your heart doesn’t affect the other person, but it sure affects you in the end. Do not return evil for evil, it will lead to your own downfall. Don’t let other people control your emotions. Seek God through Jesus and LOVE ALL of your neighbors. We are ALL children of God, and can’t let the anger and hatred of others stop us from loving them.
I grew up in the 60s and 70s black ppl were so much better off, black fams stuck together, more blacks owned their homes and businesses, live was good imo. I sure miss those days.
Yes, portia dale, it's tragic that things have gotten to where they are today with the black family. It's time to turn things back around. Thanks for your insights. --Producer Kelly
Henry Hartfielf first of, no I have not or will never forget the Jim Crow era. My parents lived through it. I grew up during the time the black panther party was on the move..blacks were pulling themself up by the boot straps..and we were PROUD. We were there for each other, had love and RESPECT for each other. Thoese are the times I was speaking of sir..because I lived it. the Jim Crow had already ended.
Omg as a black woman I’ve had to step away from fellow black Americans, especially the women. Too much victimization and everything is about how oppressed everyone is!
😭😭😭Literally this video sent me into tears, powerful message! I do agree 100% that the family unit being destroyed is the number one cause of the destruction of the black community. Not to brag at all but I discovered this fact about 8 years ago and 6 years ago my husband and I married. My marriage is the most important decision that I’ve made and my growth has proven it. Men are incredibly different in that they use logic to direct their decisions, I hope that black women finally realize that you cannot build in this world without logic directing the course.
Have you developed your own logic yet? Sacrificial marriage isn't worth the energy. Were suppose to build villages! Not bitter selfish temptress whoremongers. Ask your pastor! 😉.
jwesson30 Villages are created in an orderly fashion, 1+1=2, 2+2=4 and so forth. Villages also are filled with extended families and such. How are you and your extended family getting along? Marriage tames the animalistic side of humans and is an act of responsibility. If you cannot commit to one individual how in the hell do you reason that you’d commit to an entire village? Civilization has been built on marriages. Don’t believe me? Look it up:) If you don’t see clearly the benefits of marriage, go and get you an eye examination.
@@themack74 Hahahahaha!!!!! Bet you would never ask that about black democrats, who are CONSTANTLY saying “Lift black voices up,” whatever the fck that even means. Black conservatives ROCK!!!!!! They’re the best! Hahahaha!!!!!
@@mariaellis2882 they do tend to live by fact more than feeling. And something is wrong with anyone that leans to far either way, we need way more moderates in government
I agree i do my best to show love and respect to My Black People and they still have Anger on there Mind. I Drive Public Transportation. Give free ride every day even tho the rides not free.
I’m a black woman! I agree with everything Tommy says. He’s so right. I’ve never been discriminated against by anyone white. It’s always been black people that have mistreated, disrespected, and evil towards me. You both are so correct about the crap black women keep claiming. As a black woman, I grew up with ignorant black women that claimed to be highly educated. Watching them and knowing their lies, I chose to pursue a higher education. Oh my goodness! I love being a truly educated black woman. I love both of you guys. The truth is truth.
Warrantswife West- congratulations your truly, a free spirit when you escape the race propaganda. White people's motivation in life is to maybe meet a husband or wife, get a good job and hopefully have some children, but the lefty both black and white promote division everywhere, they see racial opportunities in every move they make
Most White men do not have black guilt, only the liberals do. It is a SJW thing to have guilt. Most white men work hard to support their wife and family too. They don’t have time to feel guilty for something that is illogical.
Dear Mr. Brandon Keyes. Was your purpose to state a statstic proving white privlage is a figment of the imagination, or were you just trying to say white families are disorganized as well
Its so refreshing to see two adult serious men speaking calm with respect. Usually I feel stressed by interviews but this one was clear and sharp. I enjoy such calm clear discussions between mature adult men
Queen Queenly that's because they're on the same page had they had opposing views it would be quite different. Although I too appreciate the calmness and flow of the interview myself.
Brandon Keyes you have ears and eyes but it's obvious that you are deaf and blind. Please try to find love in your heart... but not carnal or self-love, which are destructive and evil.
suffolk6311 Oh shut up. There's people on video talking about how they want to destroy him and talk shit about his daughters, mother, and dead grandmother. He's been threatened, punches in the face, and betrayed by people he helped.
Excellent discussion. It's just sad that this viewpoint isn't the popular one. Too many people are profiting off of rhetoric that makes us victims instead of victors.
+Bro. Sanchez TV Agreed 100%. But, the easiest thing to do is to blame others/use a crutch when things don't go a person's way. Life isn't fair, no matter what color a person is. I'm a white guy (Italian heritage) from Boston, grew up working class, no real connections, and although I had an entrepreneurial/business mind, for the better part of 2 decades I got screwed over MANY times, partly due to my naivete, partly due to lack of connections, partly due to some people just being back-stabbing assholes. I'm doing well now, but the larger point is we all get beat up in life, one way or another. There's a famous saying: "a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged." In other words, life experience. Just have to take the lumps in life, hopefully we learn from it, then move onward and upward. And like you said about victims vs. victors, if a person is continually told they're a "victim" then most likely that person will end up acting like a victim.
WRONG Tommy, "white men" are NOT at fault right now, WHITE LIBERAL MALES are, BIG DIFFERENCE. Most true conservative white men handle their situations like men. All black males aren't the same neither are all white males.Get it right.
Race doesn't matter , poverty doesn't matter . I see people from other country that have nothing , they come to North America and succeed . The one thing I notice is they come from a good family , the parents are together and they have strong values .
@Neil Hood you haven't walked a mile in a white man's shoes either so the same applies to you. It's a tradeoff. The media is on your side, you can say what you want and totally get away with it. Everyone has their privileges
A black man's perspective.... It is quite refreshing to see two men being men. Conversing without the anger, minus the name calling. This is how real men act. Thank you Mr. Sotomayor and Mr. Peterson for being an example to black men every where, even if they don't see it. BTW from the italian monk strap shoes to the plaid shirt and every thing in between, well done Mr Sotomayor.
This comment is about Jesse Lee Peterson. I'm fully on board with him about being self accountable and self responsible, and I must say he really is a great interviewer. But it's just once in awhile he'll say the damnedest things like "most blacks are immoral." or "slavery was a good thing." I think that he would maybe be able to reach more people if used more tact specifically in his language and not have so many people resenting what he says.
They are conversing without anger and name calling because they believe the same dumb rhetoric. It's easy to not be mad when you're sitting across from someone who acts just like you and co-signs your idiocracy.
@@danteanderson9052 Typical lefty. Can’t you see he’s telling the truth? Don’t you have any God-Given wisdom to see that he’s honest and wants blacks and people in general, to have some class again? LIFT BLACK CONSERVATIVE VOICES!!!!!
He tap dances for whitey. That's the truth and it doesn't hurt. In the Dave Chapelle's Racial draft, he's now officially white, so you guys can have 'em all along with Candace c00n owens, and Jesse houseboy Peterson. 😆 and yo trust it don't hurt at all son. 😆 We don't need em
@Darren Gee again you must be white? The so called problems their talking about exist in every community no matter the race. But since you're not black i sure you have all the answers about what black people should and shouldn't do.
I wouldn't go as far as to say "us" but def a sub-group of blacks most often those in the inner city and its most certainly not all nor most but a lot.
My first Fallen State video and I'm a huge fan already. This interview is beautiful and I wish the internet was more of this inspiring, honest dialogue. Watching this makes me want to go out and be more involved in fixing our broken society. Thank you so much for this!
Bcz of TOMMY being so mean i am a better WOMAN..black woman. I don't do frivolous things before my bills etc.... I do meaningful things..i do t fight i dont argue i rethink everything simply bcz of the way tommy speaks at me... Im not a failure bcz i am doing better.. Simple
Awesome interview with my two favorite guys on the internet. When Jesse was talking about Jim Crow Laws it reminded me of the quote from Walter E. Williams. "The welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery couldn't do, what Jim Crow couldn't do, what the harshest racism couldn't do. And that is to destroy the black family."
Karozans But for the most part that statement is largely ignored by the black community. I was brought up in a black neighborhood. But all my white friends are going in the same direction. The family unit is becoming an endangered species. I believe it's a way of breaking down people so they will be more easily suede to a certain way of thinking or mind set. I remember my family always got together & we were tight knit. Now that's all a pleasant memory or long forgotten custom of our culture.
You took the words right from me fam!!! Thats exactly what i was coming to the comment section to say. Then boooom, you said my shit!!!!! #lol lol #lol #MikeTheEkleze
I'm a straight white male that grew up with a lot of black friends. My best friends were black. One in particular was a great guy, we went to school together from kindergarten all the way to 12th grade, saw him at our 10 year reunion and we were happy to see each other. I feel bad for him now because even though he is doing great, he's married to a beautiful woman and has a child, he works at his local church and helps young people in his community, but in the last year or so, he has really started throwing a lot of frustrating things on social media about white privilege and how it's hurting the black community.. I couldn't think of any reason why he would become like this other than people's own biased views that have been thrown at him. I really hope to see more black people begin to see how much of these types are problems are being spread through troubled individuals that haven't matured and begin to move past it so we can all make this country a great place again. I love black people and enjoy being around the ones that are open-minded and it hurts to see the troubled black people influence the ones who see the good in people and not judge them for their skin or ancestry.
BPS stands for Black P Stone. There's no Black Power Supremacist??? Where pro Righteous...not pro Black. There's Gods & Earths in all men and woman. The God planets the seed & the Earth gives birth. Can't no woman be God and can't no man be the earth. You must be a pro gay if you think other wise

It’s sad society doesn’t respect honest, truthful, good hearted and strong men, they are under attack and it seems society only respects weak emotional men who are not honest and in denial
Dr Thomas Sowell, Dr Walter Williams, Jason Riley. The word 'racism 'is like ketchup it can be put on practically anything and demanding evidence makes you a 'racist '.Dr THOMAS SOWELL. DR THOMAS SOWELL just turned 90 years young .🎉🎉🎉
Adrienne Gadson I'd be upset that the few ruin it for the rest of us. To say that all are innocent and never commit a crime is BS. If a minority of the population is commiting the majority of the crimes then it is only obvious that good police work would look towards that population. Of course not all are criminals but not all are innocent law abiding citizens. If you haven't broken any laws then live and be happy and if the shirt fits wear it and don't complain.
I dated a girl who was from Mexico. It took her just a year and a half to learn English, get her greencard, graduate high school and enroll at the community college to become a vet assistant.
I don't hate Tommy nor do I participate in the behaviors that he critiques. Additionally, I disagree that African Americans, in general, are failures. I simply think his blanket statements about black people and black women in particular are overly negative and stereotypical. There's a better way to be balanced while critiquing an entire group of people.
If you arent hating Tommy and you are not failing at life, then my post is not addressing you. Tommy has the right to his own opinion and you have the right to yours. Do you troll Black Haters like Cynthia G and tell her not to make blanket statements about white people and white women in particular that are being overly negative and sterotypical since there is a better way to be balanced while critiquing an entire group of people?
Peace to you as well brother....again,.I was addressing those AA that are failures, not all. If some of us can do well, there is little excuse for those who do not or can not. I have faced the same racism, and white supremacy but through education that I was only able to achieve in this country, I am successful. I do not blame white folks for all my problems....I do not wallow in self-depreciation. I might not agree with everything Tommy says- but some of us have to get shook real hard to be "woke up".
Hi truly hear you jo..."If some of us can do well, there is little excuse for those who do not or can not. I have faced the same racism, and white supremacy but through education that I was only able to achieve in this country, I am successful" I too would like to see major improvements in our community. I also agree that education is a major key to upward mobility for black people. As I shared with JLP in a post below: I agree that blame and excuse making will get you no where. Likewise, persistently putting down others gets us no where. I assume you strongly believe in personal responsibility. So do I. I also believe in social accountability. You may not. My belief is that they must work hand in hand--when they do, black people as a whole and in much greater numbers advance. Certainly, there are many stories of individuals who are able to overcome the challenging cards that they were dealt but if we want to see greater numbers of black people advance, it's going to take more than just telling our brothers and sisters to "pull themselves up by the bootstraps". If that's all it took was personal responsibility, we'd have many more successful Americans. Peace. What are your thoughts? Thanks for the respectful dialogue!
two Alpha males - what a joy to see. Good men, protective men, nice guys overall. OMG the changing world for us as mothers gives a feeling that someone is squeezing your heart. We fear in silence - mothers do fear in silence. For one, if moms could just stay with their babies in a natural way for a while, in 15 years it will already be a better world.
What an interesting perspective of why (black) men behave the way they do. Because most of them are raised by women. Edit: Including me. Ground breaking. Thank you for this conversation. When I forgave my mother, I was transformed. Believe you me, if I can forgive a woman who tarnished positive relationships in my life and put convicts ahead of her own sons, Christ can help you too.
Thats the problem right there with most men..they momma put men before them and treated them bad, its not our fault and you shouldn't attack us women in general
Christina coles Lol I know. And most of these mother blaming sons grow up to be just like the dad they never grew up around. They are so angry with their mom's yet it's the dad they end up being just like. They have kids and abandon them just like their dad's did.
Tik Doe very true...and its way more prevalent in the blk community...Be angry or resentful towards your peice of shit dad at least your mother tried..
My 2 favourite black men and probably one of the 2 most hated black men in the black community and all for the fact that you both drop truth bombs that people don’t like.
Jim Beans ..sure, if you’re living in darkness a long time and someone turns on a light, you’re going to react very strongly. And yell “ turn off that light “
Been waiting for this and I got to say it's been fun to watch. Two black man that has overcome their anger about being black and racism. It is amazing to see and inspiring.
I don't know who you are so I cannot judge you, but based on what Henry Hartfield said, you must be just like that detestable Tony Sotomayor. I don't know, when I first saw your face pop up on the screen I immediately cringed. Something about your face just told me that you do not look at black people favorably. Based on Henry Hartfield's assessment of you, I don't even plan to watch this video or EVER watch anything you have on youtube. It is regrettable that people like you and Sotomayor exist in the black community. The black race is perhaps the only race of people who have people who would betray their own people for the white man's crumbs. How can you endorse a person like Tony Sotomayo? Like the saying goes, like attracts like. Everything about him bespeaks of and reeks with FILTH and VULGARITY. He has such a filthy mouth, and his hatred of black women know no bounds! He has done more on youtube to damage the reputation of the black community than anyone else. SLANDER is a high crime before God, and the Bible declares that an account is taken of EVERY uncouth thing that comes out of our lips and we wil have to meet every word said before the judgement bar of GOD.
What all this boils down to is maybe black people need to check out conservatism. Like on college campuses, where the left claims is filled with racism, sexism, rape, homophobia, etc., and remains a hotbed of leftist ideology. Perhaps college campuses should rethink there leftist leanings if the campuses are so dangerous and hateful, but of course they won't. Again, like college campuses, maybe black people, who claim they are systematically discriminated against even when they heavily support the left, should rethink their leanings if it's not working out for them.
Modern Caveman Understanding the wisdom. Wiseman will tell you don’t piss in the wind. Knowledge is understanding why so you don’t make that mistake with other things for example.
My white ass has never had white guilt nor white pride that’s what’s most important I have pride in being American but not being white having pride in something random that you have no control over its illogical for any race!
Postwarmage28 Its because hes a free mason. He's a dog and God will deal with him. There's better ways of talking about black issues, but he straight up degrades black women for white peoples entertainment. He's a fucking devil. Just like them.
AnastasiaLUVSU you're a race-baiting, Joy Reid-esque black woman who can't stand the truth about her existence? Tommy speaks the truth...why are African women so smart, but African American women kicking ass at Macdonald's? Smarten up? Not bloody likely.
J.P. : I really enjoy your program. I'm an atheist. I'm not a Republican. But I seriously enjoy all of your work. This is a good example of two men trying to fix a problem. No victim stance. No crying about systemic racism. Just two responsible men having an intellectual conversation. Don't ever stop JP
Clay, your comment perfectly articulates *exactly* how I feel/think. I'm not a conservative, I don't believe in any gods, the SJW movement makes me absolutely sick, and I think I'm an OG Liberal. But lately i'm starting to feel like I have *no* political party. And maybe that's best? I'm 46 and still trying to figure it all out. Appreciate your comment.
K Will so are you saying his mental state makes his observation invalid? Or what? It's well known nobody is perfect. It seems as if you are doing what you think he's doing. Projecting.. just a tought
amazing video idc what anyone thinks Tommy Sotomayor speaks nothing but the truth about blacks in general. blacks need to open themselves more about the issues we have in the black community instead of insulting each other for petty reasons
Abraham Palmer I agree, I also am seeing a more rational side to tommy. Then again he's facing a man with more resentment towards native american mentality.... Neither one wants to aescuss we're also being spiritually manipulated by the powers, black n white.
I fully agree with you. I believe that most people want to see others thrive in life. What you have does not detract from my ability to gain the same. I say more power to the black people of America. Be the change you wish to see in the world. That change begins at home. Make it work.
Andre Walker Lol and your point is what? Sorry where were black men on that list? Not even mentioned. Black women SIGNIFICANTLY outperform black on academically. Black women make up just 8 per cent of private sector jobs and 1.5 per cent of leadership roles. Where are black men on that list TOO? That's right, they're busy on the internet bashing and blaming them for their pathetic lives.
White men have said there is nothing you men can take responsibility for. Now you've stopped blaming them, and have started to blame black women and slowly they'll see you of exactly what you are too. It's a shame that they have to be lumped and stick with you low lives, who are further dragging them down. If you were better men, the black community wouldn't be anything like it is now.
Tommy ur alright. Just remember, not all women can be put in a "female" catagorie. Some of us have self respect and handle ourselves like a respectable lady.
Don Parks... I haven’t heard that, but, I just started listening... I know that when he says, “ black women” are loud and obnoxious, we know that he’s not talking about all black women, there are some beautiful, educated and articulate black women out there...Have a great day!
as a middle class white guy in the uk (55) you 2 represent black people who I recognise from the first 40 yrs of my life...norrmal....it's changed over the ladt 15 yrs.. I feel people are almost forced to be racist when once they were not.... rediculous
So you consider two self hating people, who are ashamed to be who God created them to be, normal? Who are you, Jesus? Who did you die and go to hell for? Where were you when God created the universe?
Pray? To the God that says its ok for you to be a slave? Christian. Or to allah who says to slaughter you. Which God were u refering to? Prayer does nothing. We are left to our own devices.
What happend in theory, is blacks had poverty in the country as starting out from slavery. Poverty produces crime no matter what race your from. In a short period , we got blacks not only freed but also soon recognised as equals to their white counterpart. Well of course the slaves had fear and even hatred for white men and passed that down to their children. The children were poor compared to their white counterparts and that would only strengthen the hatred for white people. When blacks started selling drugs to support their families, it got confused with the right thing to do. The blacks that had money, didnt go to collage, they just got that easy money. They NEVER were a part of the society so they didnt know how to be a part of it. So to someone growing up, you look toward an adult that has what you want. The drug dealer in this case had money n power, and didnt need to go to white mans school to get it. So kids see drug dealers as power, they dont look at that the drugs destroyed their own community. They imulate what they see cuz thats all they know. They look at the rapper that made it, and they think they can make it too. They look at micheal jordan. They look at black role models and of course us educated people would know how hard it actually is to be a professional athlete or a successful musician- its good to dream but also have something to fall back on. Those kids had too few examples of good role models. So its just taking the black community longer to get its shit together. I dont blame them for that because they were set back. However , if your black in this day and age and you dont realise that the white guy next to u didnt have slaves and isnt against u...well then you are still suffering from what has been past down from generations. What these guys speak is truth. Its blacks responcibility to educate their own race on the facts. The fact is us white people ...could care less about blacks. Mexicans. Indians. We just want you to stop blaming us for racism when its quite non existant in reality. If you think its a actual problem thats holding you back, your the problem. Id rather work next to a black guy that knows i believe were equal than a black guy that believes I BELIEVE we arnt.
What's going on? Exactly what Jesse and Tommy just discussed. But, if we all do everything we can, to treat other people, the way we want to be treated, things will get better.
As a black man, I cannot relate to the type of mother these guys had.. My grandmother treated us with unconditional love. She disciplined us when needed, but was never mean to us. My mother worked two jobs for 20 years to provide for her 2 kids... My mother was never argumentative. If anything, I learned work ethic, character, and integrity from her. I'm non-argumentative, never called a woman out of their names, and never cursed around my kids..
It brought tears to my eyes hearing him tell the story of when he went to see 'A birth of a nation' and both his family and a white family hugged after the movie..❤
@Jacob Gonzalez I'm sure they are being honest. I'm one of them who tends to say that. However, I took his statement as to meaning we are flawed no matter how "good" we are. Also, biblically Jesus stated he isn't good when he was being complimented he instead stated only my father in heaven is good. I found that quite humbling. I meant no offense.
Im from Swedebn, one Point of time many swedes emigrated to USA. They where looked at as garbage, many of them faught hard and did actually managed to get forward in Life.
yes, but swedes have the ability to assimilate ...from a visual p.o.v. ....they can fit in with the right accent being the only change needed. a black person hasnt this option.
Swedes were not seen as garbage. They were white European protestants, just like the Norwegians, Danes, Dutch, Germans and English people. The ruling elite was WASP back then. Italian and Irish Catholics were viewed as garbage, as were Jews and Blacks. The US actually encouraged immigration from Northern European countries due to eugenics

No it isn't. The jacket is straight off the rack and isn't tailored properly. The shirt is tacky as fuck and does not go with the jacket. Stop hyping up mediocrity
I want to not like this guy because he can be so brutal to black women but there IS some truth to what he’s saying here. I just wish he would have an open mind to the black women who are actually doing something with themselves instead of placing us all in the same category.
Black butterfly Keto Journey.... yes The truth can hurt.. however I’ve watched a lot of TSS stuff and when he is accused of lumping all black Woman together he points out that he NEVER says All black women and I’ve never heard him say. “ALL black people do this”...... or “ALL white people do that”. A lot of his stuff is hard to listen to though. Be happy !
