F-Fly: Marjan Fratnik’s amazingly simple CDC Dry Fly 

The F-Fly is quite possibly the simplest most effective dry fly for me.
Hook: dry fly hook of your choice
Body: thread - color of your choice, here I use Rusty Dun Uni. Dubbing is an option my 2nd tying is my variation with CDC dubbing.
Wings: two natural dun CDC feathers tied in long then clipped to length
This fly rides low. You can use Loon Lochsa and then Frogs Fanny or other cdc appropriate products. The fly is so easy to tie I recommend tying many. When you catch a fish and one gets “slimmed” wash cut off and put on a new one.
If the fly sinks mid drift…play it out…it will still catch fish in a shallow drift!
