It's the "Fonk mix" or "Fonk version", available on "Friend or foe" and/or "World of F.O.E." - CD's by Hosono's Friends of Earth ( F.O.E. = Hosono + Eiki Nonaka + others). "World of F.O.E." is still available on SHM-Disc (Papersleeve), J-Import. Really great Electro/Funk-Album ! Highly recommended !!

This picture is produced in 1985. I brought it from the VHS tape of an article not for sale distributed for promotion in 1986. Possibly, about the music, it may be a version released by a single record in those days. Because the material which caused it is an analog videotape not digital, there may not be the thing which is clearer than this picture. (because it is translation in the translation site, approve that words are funny to some extent.)

昔、岐阜の方の岐阜放送で、 確かRCカーグランプリっていう番組と アニメのミスター味っ子の間に、 YMOのRYDEENとこのストレンジラブ がMVで、よく流れてました。 このストレンジラブは、ちょっとトラウマに なる映像で妙にあの青年の首から マーブルカラーのラインが出現する映像と、 鳥のくちばしが、トラウマになっちゃいましたが、今ではこの音楽の意味するところも なんとなく自分なりの解釈で分かり 懐かしく思います。 けっこうYMOのテクノデリックの サンプリングの手法が、 ここでも垣間見える気がします。 細野さんのアルバムSFX全体が、 サンプリング音を、 随所に散りばめられてますよね。

I really really like this song. Where did you find this version of it? Do you have it in better quality? The version of this song on the ''S-F-X'' album is much faster and quite different. I would really like to get a better quality of this version somewhere somehow...
